@NewDestinyLives, a couple of things you need to understand: 1) Riva Timms's name is not on ANY legal document regarding ownership of anything at NDCC. 2) A church is a non-profit, tax exempt entity. Therefore, there is no such thing as private ownership of a church. 3) I knew who would be pastor the minute Zachery Timms died.  You and the members there are late.

This is exactly why folks NEED to RUN out these churches & start from scratch. Preferably at home with REAL Saints of Yah (God). Build upon what the Saints did in Acts & go from there.

I amazed at how people prove my point by continuing to speak of New Destiny in terms of a business and a personal possession.

Nowhere in scripture is there any such thing as a church being 'owned' by a pastor and/or able to be 'passed down' to one's 'heirs'. That kind of thinking is foolish and unbiblical. A true 'church' founded on biblical and Christ-like principles cannot be owned or controlled by any one person.

@Tawnygalwk The Elders pick People who they feel have what it takes.They have had to truely go through some hell in life to get this position.Look Up the statistics of churches and you will see that its not one big happy experience.Statistics say that alot of church owners are only preachers because god called them to do it.Being a pastor of a church cuts into there lives,it eats at there marriage,they dont get much time with there family.Be regardless NDCC have one of the best Pastors.

When Bryant, White and Riva Timms walked into that church after the death of Zachary Timms I knew then this would end in disaster and disgrace.

It is clear that some sort of arrangement was made whereby they would use Riva to validate White's and possibly Bryant's insertion in the church. White being a demon of the highest order played the game better than Timms and by the video Hilliard too and came out on top.

If the people in that church still have some truth about them they will FLEE!!!

NDCC is not a house of the Lord but a WHOREHOUSE! It represents all that is wrong with faith as it is practiced by most mega-churhces. Paula White is a HERETIC! She is one of the main proponents of the Prosperity gospel which is a perversion of scripture.

There are HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of believers who are POOR, SICK, HOMELESS what does the Prosperity gospel offer them.

I think she has something in writing that she is not publicly saying....what I've heard is that Riva Tims apparently has a strong case, I've spoken with someone who is very close to her on last night...but again I can be wrong and it can all be dismissed...

Being the pastor of a church is not a legal right. And NO court in the United States is going to make a ruling installing her as pastor (they simply do not have the authority to do so). The only thing she "might" -- and I stress "might" -- have a right to is some property. But that issue would have been decided at the divorce.

I think she's toast.

Hello Sir...the cooperation is not the final document for the control of the church..it is the bylaws. That is what the COURTS looks at to make a final decision. Trust me on that one. The courts will ask about the Bylaws.... board of directors can be changed and replace anytime.

if Riva Tims name is in that by laws as next in line for the church.. She will get it hands down.

Because of the Constitution and established case law (such as the Callahan decision) courts will only go as far as determining the authority to whom deference is due. They WILL NOT get involved in differences of opinion over doctrine and polity.

Riva Tims's name was removed from everything prior to the divorce, so she has no legal standing. This case will be summarily dismissed.
