  • Well, I cannot relate, stuck in N.Carolina. But it is a great story, a great song,

that reflects on Florida, I think. LIke so many of his songs.

If he cannot deal with it, why can't I? the ocean is there. And no one can

    tame the ocean.

  • this drummer was so dynamic. I think this drummer understood Buffett's songs better than any of his other drummers. Coconut Telegraph and Changes in Latitudes are Buffett's most sophisticated masterpieces. His comedic sense is more subtle on these records.

  • Great song. I love Jimmy's older stuff the best.

  • Thanks! I remember

  • I live in Cedar Key ...and I know why Jimmy Buffet liked it so much. Ahh the island life!!

  • @clamdraggin There are 2 T's in Buffett

  • @dolfans03 Thank you for correcting my (obvious) misspelling of Mr BUFFETT's name. Certainly no disrespect

intended. However, I hope that the substance of my comment can be agreed with....(even by the mainlanders out there)

  • This was always one of my Favorite songs and I hadn't heard it for awhile and forgot about the Leadville reference,

  • Simply a fantastic song that has a special meaning for me. Thanks for the vid!

  • "Think of Red River and Liberty Valence....I can't believe the old man's gone" What a great line.

  • Thanks. My favourite Jimmy Buffett song. And love the album.

  • Thank you so much for this great song. Great video! Good Job!
