i love this movie, it gives you a slap in the face for the damn racist people, people who think there from a ghetto neighborhood and think violence is okay. This is a life changing movie, it also proves that no matter what skin color your are, what you believe in, or where your from and what youve been through and have seen in your past and present, everyones a human with a beating heart, eyes, mouth and brain. i dont know who read the book but i did. and when i read the storys i just felt lucky just being me. some of the storys made me think for days and im just barley 14. i dont have a story that comes NEAR theres. but 1 of the storys did connect with me and that a story that they dont show in the movie.

even if its not drametic or awaful everyone has a story that is special in a way. the movie really chanched my way of thinking. they should really do a movie (not a halliwood one) but a movie about where are they now? there probebly 30 by now some married some with kids. i would like to know how they are doing and what are they doing to help other kids that are at the same problem they had. and to know if they are still in touch...
