@Kaluha900 The Jedi Guardian is restricted to using one lightsaber, while the sentinal is restricted to using 2. The Jedi Consular can use a double bladed lightsaber for one branch (Shadow), and a regular lightsaber in the other (Sage, which focuses mainly on Force attacks).

SWTOR was released 12/20/11... why is it people are saying its the greatest game of all time when its pretty much still new? There are a lot of bugs to be worked out and a lot of time to be put in. Right now its all story, no real raiding and PvP is pretty new so there are still a lot of kinks to be worked out. Again, 1 month and people are either giving it flack or way too much praise. If you haven't tried it, don't knock it. If you have, give it time and enjoy the ride; it can only get better.

Consulars spend most of their time studying the mysteries of the force and guardians usually focus on combat. Sentinels are a middle ground.

The only reason why i still didn't buy it is because there are many things i still don't understand, such as why armors are looking so bad and why i never see special weapons like in WoW. @ZatackTheGreat well comparing this game to WoW is and isnt fair at the same time. tbh this game does look like it should of been released in 2005. also wow is in no way based on DnD. it doesnt use the DnD ruleset nor does it contain any elements of DnD other then orcs and elves wich are in every fantasy game/book/film since the begging on fantasy itself.

@kbizz640 I bought SWTOR and enjoyed for the first 2 days. Don't get me wrong its good. But its just a clone of WoW with less stuff. The PvP feels... I dont know how to put it, but lets just say, its not as clean as lets say Guild Wars. the concept its amazing. But not worth paying $15 a month for it. Plus its very linear, and for a MMO thats bad. Theres little to no exploration to the game.

It is a good MMO, but right now. Its not worth getting at the moment. You do have a valid point though

from what I've seen, the options to be the kind of Jedi you want to be seem limited compared to KOTOR. for example, is the sentinel class really the only class that can have 2 lightsabers? why can't a guardian or consular have 2?

This might be silly, but the thing I was most impressed with in the beta was that mobs take fall damage. If you knock an mob off a bridge, or something in a high place, they will die. At least for an MMO I thought that was neat. Also the los is pretty good as well, if your being shot at and move behind a wall the mob actually comes comes around to look for you, or takes cover and waits for you to come back out. They don't keep shooting and laser fire doesn't magically go through walls.

The porblem wiht the graphics, is that if they were more realistic it would take an AMAZING computer to run the game. Most people do not have the insanly expensive computers to run it. So take a chill pill dude, enjoy it for its changing story line and variety of voice actors.

Nor does a cartoon look state that the graphics are bad. Its a style so just relax. SW would have been better portrayed in a more dark Gritty style IMO anyway, its good Vs evil in a grand scale. Cartoon palette does not do Sith justice. Story, its Bioware, need not say more. It will be fun either way
