You guys do realize that the "1.5x rate" isn't the song's speed, but rather the speed of how fast the notes come? It just makes the notes more spread out. Easier to see for faster songs, slower reaction time. I can't even play on anything lower than 2x because it's so hard to time it properly when the notes move slowly.

@nugz93 No, 1.5x is indeed the song speeded up 1.5x. If you've played Quasar you can tell this is faster than normal. C400 is the note speed. It means that regardless of the song speed, notes 'look' like they are coming in if the song were a constant 400bpm. Most players do not use _x note speed, they use C400 or C500 or something because it eliminates bpm changes and is constant regardless of the song bpm.

@ZenArch There are 2 different kinds of 'speed up'. The one you're talking about is note speed. Notes fly by faster and spaced apart more, generally making it easier. The one (1.5x) used in the video is literally speeding up the song. Confusion arises because 1.5x can mean either note speed up or song speed up. But most people use C400/500/___ and never use __x note speed up.
