From left to right: Dead, pedalo, guaranteed to be in the Christmas top 10 forever more, and dead. And Jools Holland was just as annoying in the 80s I see...
Funny really.. in the eighties, the seventies excesses seemed to be rather tasteless, but looking back on it now, I'd prefer the seventies to the somewhat hollow eighties.. Music didn't really improve overall as the eighties wore on did it..

Brain connolly had the best rock voice ever he could sing the other two under the table. go listen to Hell Raiser, Action, Teenage Rampage and Ballroom Blitz just mind blowing songs.
@MrLayford65 I totally agree ,BC could sing sugary pop and Hard Rock superbly .I believe that snobbery in the music press and also the fact that 'Joe Public' want to associate their declared musical tastes to "cool" bands and singers means that Brian's talent and his contribution has been under-valued .Sweet fans, however , realize that, when we listen to E.G the 'Give Us A Wink' album we are hearing some of the greatest vocals ever !
I dreamt last night Paula Yates was in bed having sex with Michael Hutchence and Brian Connolly. All I can remember is Brian telling Michael to belt up and the next thing I woke up. Funny dream.
Wizzard were a far cry from The Move; a few decent tunes but too 1950s-ish and cartoonish for my tastes. Wizzard would seem more of a fit for this silly interview.
Kinda sad to see Roy Wood there. The Move were a tremendous band and he deserves far better than this, but then so does Brian Connelly. The Sweet were fantastic too.
This is an example of why a lot of musicians dislike being interviewed; dumbbell interviewers who talk about silly things that have nothing to do with music or if they talk about music they fail to do any proper research and know next to nothing about the artist. A total waste of time.
Moorlock , that is Paula Yates who died of an overdose . She was married to Bob Geldof and later with Michael Huchens from INXS . Dont slag her off she dosnt deserve it. She was a good presenter .
Look ,she was a realy cool girl who was very bright and didnt bow down to pop stars no matter who they were and people respected her for that. Paula and Jools Holland changed the way music programs were made forever .
In nearly four minutes, there is not one mention of music. All she does is comment on the clothes, including asking them why they didn't throw them away. I repeat, a lousy interviewer.
Moorlock you are a TWAT . Cant you see this has been taken out of context and was a piece on glam . If you dont understand the program then dont comment. Dont you think Brian and the others knew what they were doing there!!!!
Even more! Thanks SO MUCH for finding and putting up these brilliant interviews. It so good to know fans all over the world looking out for each other with stuff like this! 5 stars.
You are right, it was from a program called "The Tube" on Channel 4 UK around 1984/85 (back in the days when we only had 4 channels).
It used to be on every Friday with Jools Holland too. This clip features Brian Connolly, Roy Wood (Wizzard) and Gary Glitter when he was one of Britain's favourite celebrities!
Belive it or Not, Garry Glitter even featured on "This is Your Life", although not all aspects of his life were covered (if you get what I mean). Connolly was a guest on that too.

Sad what happened to Brian. I saw the sweet right at the end of Brians life and he was a shadow of his former self. One drink too many.
