  • damn......those ar esome goos bettas....LUCKY i dont work im only 14 soon i well and well have alot of bettas

  • quantity over quality.........

  • where did chu get the beanie boxes and how much

  • @DarkAbyss3495 What causes those disease is the lack of knowledge of the fishkeeper not the size of the container. Bettas can get those diseases in any size tank. I have not had a case of fin rot or ich in a very long time.

  • @BettaFishKeeping Yes. They were all heated from below with a reptile heating cord controlled with a thermostat. That was 3 years ago. Now I've changed this set up over to a drip system. There's a clip in my channel.

  • this would be a good example of a hoarder...

  • @Snufflesdog A hoarder would have dirtier water and it wouldn't look as nice. I doubt she is. Or he.

  • please, get bigger tanks for the bettas,

  • what size are your beanie boxes? are they 4x4x8? please reply. Thanks!!! Btw, very nice bettas. You've done a great job keeping them healthy and active! :)

  • Hi Please can you tell me where you purchased those beanie display cases from and thier size? Your Betta's look content and happy. I have tried a google search but only Amazon, a Market place seller stock the small ones. Any help appreciated please. Thank you. x

  • Hi, Please can you tell me where you purchased your beanie display cases from? I can only find small ones under the search title you recommended and the only seller being Amazon Market Place. What size are your cases? They look really good : )

  • wow !!!!!!!!

were did u get all those bettas?

  • where do you get the beanie boxes from??

  • eBay. Search for "beanie display cases".

  • @Bettarazzi Go to amazon and type in beanie display cases and you can get one for two bucks, cheap than what i could find on ebay

  • @tinkerbrittany They're cheaper in the US on Amazon but cheaper on eBay in Australia where I am located.

  • where did you get the jars?

  • Whoa wow all their fins are intact-just beautiful!

  • feeding time must be hard 83

  • how many do you have there sooo preetty i have 2 a red and blue but they dont get along

  • add some small plant and it'll be perfect

  • love your plaket betta

  • how do u prepare ur female bettas for spawning ?? what do u feed them ?

  • That must be one hell of a water change!

  • awesome collection, could paradisefish live in these small boxes? Thanks

  • i heard it streess your fish when you place the male next to eachother all the time ???

  • @Cybersix1980 Yes. These guys normally have cards between the containers. The cards were removed for the video.

  • @Bettarazzi well it is healthy for them to strut at other fishes cause it helps them show off in public displays

  • @fighter4111 True. But if they overdo it they'll get bored and won't flare as well in a show.

  • @Cybersix1980 most breeders keep cards between each tank so they don't stress out over seeing other fish. I happen to be one of those who do that.

  • they need more room they would be alot healthier

  • @wildnotmild1 How much healthier do they need to be? They have no diseases, they feed well, they breed.

  • @Bettarazzi hmmm, can you tell me how many times to do water chages a week? and feed how many times daily to keep them healthy? pls reply~~

  • @jakechan99 The frequency of water changes will depend on the size of the container and also how long the container has been set up and whether or not you have plants. In the beginning you might have to change the water every couple of days. Once the container is well established you may be able to get away with only weekly water changes. If you're a beginner with keeping aquarium I recommend learning about cycling tanks using a larger tank eg. 10 gallon (38 litres).

  • @Bettarazzi i have some plants in my each container,so how many times do you do water changes with urs?

  • @wildnotmild1 bro...he just owned you...haha

  • how do u get those boxes?

    and what about 700:O

  • Search for "beanie display cases" in eBay.

  • that's pretty f***ing cool

  • is that all yours if it is then u got some nice color

  • hahahhaa did u breed them???

  • betta heaven!

  • really beautiful fish. they do seemed a little stressed though...maybe just a little bit of gravel and a small plant or hiding spot would help them out

  • @crystalclearwolf they dont need gravel thats how they farm them in Thailand

  • *shrugs*

that's also how they keep them in the little cups in Walmart.

  • @crystalclearwolf ur fuckin dumb! walmart doesnt feed this guys this person who is a breeder knows how to take care of those bettas so just stfu let the person do his thing cuss he knows how to deal with em TALKIN BOUT WALLMART Pftt!

  • Do you breed them or buy them for show?

  • WOW! Those are great living conditions considering the sheer amount of them! =] They're all beautiful! =] I assume this was taken in a breeder's fish room or a Local Fish Shop?

  • Sorry, just read the other comments about the dividers, Nice collection. :)

  • There all flaring up at eachother, shoulnt you divide them or somthing??

  • @MrNailDUDE no need thats how they exercise

  • Really pretty. I don't approve of the beanie containers as long term homes, not like this.

I know it's a lot of maintenance, but seriously, a tiny bit of substrate like gravel, and even a small terra cotta pot for hiding. They sell tiny ones at the dollar store, big enough for bettas. These guys seem active, almost stressed out a bit.

So maybe a plant divided up, small silk plants, or some kind of container (not sharp) to hide in.

But they're beautiful specimens. I'm impressed.

  • dammmm nice collection man

  • wow must have costs a fortune, where do u buy those anyways??

    plz replie

  • you know I"ve never had that idea to use beanie boxes! I'm going to start breeding betta's and I always thought, "were am I going to put the fry!?"

  • Great Job Some People Say These Tanks Are Small But Regaurding they Live In A Puddle Or A Small Pocket Of Water In The Wild This Is Quite An Upgrade! Great Job!

  • No, they do not. they live in rice paddies which, while shallow, span for many miles. These boxes are, in fact, quite small. But as long as they are kept clean, I've seen worse. They're probably just temporary housing too, until they are sold.

  • @TheSnuzzle of corse. they're breeders.people are not understanding that

  • hey is this in us ?

  • No. Australia. However there are many betta breeders in the US and beanie boxes are commonly used.

  • isnt it bad for them to see each other. I read that more then 15 mineuets of flaring could lead to stress

  • There is usually a plastic card between them. The cards were removed for the video clip.

  • Occasional company and flaring is actually healthy, and can help inhibit boredom. But no, they shouldn't be seeing each other all the time.

  • cruel!!!

  • wtf what is cruel about this

  • holy crap good job breeding this is so cool. is it hard to take care of all of them? u should put a little decoration in their tank they would like that. :) good job!

  • Wow never seen that many bettas in a house before lol pretty bettas by the way :D

  • this may sound like a stupid question but what are the lids on the beanie baby boxes? did they come with the boxes?

  • Yes they come with the boxes.

  • so are you like a breeder or a collector?

  • Breeder.

  • hi I'm going to be breeding bettas soon and I want to get something like that were did you get it? Or did you make it please answer it would help alot...thanks

  • There is a video in my channel (Drip System Tour) which explains the different parts of the drip system. Yes, I put it together myself.

  • the problem is they flare at each other... why dont you do anything about it?

  • What makes you think I HAVEN'T done anything about it? These fish are normally carded. But that would make a very boring video so the cards were removed for the video clip.

  • hey, how do you keep the water at the correct temperature and how does the filteration work? thnks

  • Have a look at the drip system video in my channel. Should tell you everything you need to know about heating and filtration. At the time this video was taking the drip system wasn't fully set up yet.

  • loving the set up. cause of this vid. thats the reason why id bought my jars like these! thanks to this owner of the video

  • Nice collection...

  • My bettas will eat their weight in mosquito larvae.

Mosquito larvae are easy to attract outside. Easy to catch as they have to come to the surface to breathe. Set up a bucket outside in the shade with a small amount of urine in it for best results; catch them then invert the net for the betta's next inhaled meal!

  • i like ur set up...where did u get ur boxes at?

  • Try eBay, search for beanie display case.

  • can you tell me if i can put one i cold water without heater?

  • Bettas are tropical fish and you need to provide them with warmth. I recommend a temperature around 24-26 deg Celcius. Some people report success at temps a couple of degrees lower than that. There are different ways you can achieve this. The room could be warm or you can get a small heater for the container.

  • Where did you get the boxes? That is really cool.

  • Try eBay, search for beanie display case.

  • oooooh i saw a red dragon!

  • u have a lot of bettas

  • damn nice bettas..where can u get beanie boxes?

  • are there holes on the top for air

  • Yes. There is a feeding hole in the lid.

  • wow great setup they all look wonderful

  • I love your system! I put up a video response of mine. Not as nice as yours. Touche!

  • Sweet setup. Do they have filtration? I have seen something similar where all the cups have overflow valves into a sump, where a filter then pumps the water up through the cups again at a rate of 1 drip per second per cup or thereabouts. It would just save a lot of water changes cause if I was keeping bettas in anything that small I'd be doing daily water changes... (How often do you change them? THey all look very healthy.)

  • This video was taken before the filtration system was set up. The current setup is shown in another video called 'Drip System Tour'

  • HI micheal, its ingrid, just wondering where you got those beanie boxes from, as i am thinking of expanding my collection and i cant put hem all into 5 gal tanks i guess, lol.

  • I got mine from Jodi-Lea in Brisbane. I think there is also a seller on eBay who is based in Melbourne. Search eBay for beanie display case, beanie boxes, baby beanie etc.

  • Thanks micheal, i appreciate all the info, also the blue dalmation male you sold me has some problems with his tail, it is quite tattered, there is no rot or goo on it, so i dont know what it sould be, so you think he is biting it?

  • Oh cool thanks,i found out she actually has a youtube channeland i got in contact with her and she has a whole heap of beanie boxes for sale, awsome!

  • where could i get white halfmoon betta... but verray pretty bettas luv how you set it up

  • where did you get the beanie boxes at?

  • IMA GET MY BOXES LIKE THESE =D

  • can u pls help i have got 10 male bettas 6 crown tails and the rest r normal they have been lying on the bottom of there tanks and when they swim there tails and fins r very stiff pls pls help

  • Could be lots of things eg. heating or water quality. Stiff fins can be caused by high ammonia. But diseases like finrot, ick and velvet can also cause stiff fins. Suggest that you pop onto a betta forum where there are more people online to help. Try ausaquaDOTnet (replace DOT with . )

  • is this a pet shop or your house?

  • It's in my house.

  • Does this not stress out the fish by seeing eachother. because they get stressed if the can see another betta

  • Normally there is a plastic card in between the boxes which the bettas can't see through. The cards were removed for the video.

  • can u gave me some tips on breeding them plsssssssssss

  • You can find spawning articles on my website

  • wow . i really like the plakats

  • WOw man remind me when i used to have 100s of betta in those same little boxes. Back in DR now i just started Breeding betta here.

  • where do you get those boxes at

  • OMG, so luckyyyyyy. Where did u get all the bettas from? And where did u get the beanie boxes from? Must be hard to clean all of them!!

    Plzzz let me know!!! Thx

  • I imported some of the bettas and bred the rest myself. I bought these boxes locally. If you Google beanie baby box you should be able to find a supplier. I've now installed a filtration system which makes cleaning them a lot easier.

  • Ahhhh alright! I've tried to bred them myself, but not so experienced yet. But I do have 3 bettas. Hey can you take a video of the filtration system, I really want to know so I can have something similar to yours, or so I can have a much easier life. Coz i clean every week, lol

    Thx, let me know too!!!

  • i'm jealous of all of them!

what do you do with them?

  • I sell most of them and keep a few for breeding the next generation.

  • Where did you get the beanie cases? i cant find them to buy them!

  • Just Google beanie baby box and you should be able to find a supplier.

  • hey what was wrong wth your green betta? my male has the same thing...HELP?

  • Never found out what was wrong with him. Could have been parasitic. Suggest you try worming medication.

  • wow, that RB HM boy is gorgeous! also loved those red dragon plakats :D

  • Thanks shooshoo. Yes he was nice. Sadly I don't have him any more. Someone bought him. He's on a truck on his way to Adelaide at this very moment.
