When the carb is flooded, turn off the gasoline, open the choke, and keep kicking he scooter until it starts, should be abou 5 kicks, when she starts close choke, works like a charm ;)

Find a steep hill put in second pull the clutch in, ignition on and run like F**k..

Jump as high as you can releasing the clutch and smashing your backside on the seat... Remember to hold on..

Whilst parking the Lambretta, turn the fuel-tap to the off position, allow the Lambrettas' engine to run, whilst removing your crash-helmet and gloves, then switch off the engine. To start, do not turn the fuel-tap to the on position, before the engine has fired-up and is running. Amazing what you can learn from reading an old owners/workshop manual.

Also,it might help cure the starting probs,if you put an inline fuel filter in.

My Li 200 had that fault of not wanting to start,specially if it was still warm.

this was painful. I'm out of breath just watching! You gotta remember to turn off the fuel tap (and then remember to turn the it on and the choke on if it's cold) and it should start 1st or 2nd kick every time, I know mine does!
