You are as incorrect as your atrocious spelling. This is not a mud volcano, this is called a Mud Pot. Mudpots form in high-temperature geothermal areas where water is in short supply. This mud pot is indeed hot and you don't want to touch it. The vid poster is misleading the viewers about this being a mud volcano. You and the vid poster need to research your ideas before posting and looking like a fool.

@grillertuner, I think chunweikor is actually correct and you are mistaken. This is a mud volcano. As a geologist I've encountered identical structures in Azerbaijan. There, as in Taiwan, the mud is sourced from overpressured muds which lie at great depths (6km in Azerbaijan!), and are a product of hydrocarbon generation, not geothermal processes. In fact if you look closely at this video you can see oil forming concentric black streaks on the surface of the mud. Your post was also very rude.
