The actresses in this movie were great but what really stood out to me were the incredible action scenes. A great doc just came out on demand called “Films of Fury” and it was really informative and filled with great martial arts clips (including scenes from Crouching Tiger)!

@hannibal457 it's not kung fu it's wuxia. Kung Fu is ues of fists and feet, jackie chan, bruce lee etc. Wuxia is swordplay- learn your martial arts roots. Also the "flight" is an element of wuxia, which is also called wuxia pian, pian meaning magical referring to things like flight, chi from the palm etc.

For all those people wondering how they're "flying", they really can't FLY per se. They couldn't fly to the clouds if they wanted to, it's more like being light as a feather. When you think of a martial artist or a ninja, you think agility and being able to move around quick and being light on your feet. They exaggerate this aspect in this fantasy world, nothing more.

Just compare this to a martial arts/ninja anime. It's so normal in an anime to 'fly' or jump from tree to tree.
