@LetsFlyOnceMore FALSE. tons of animals that live in water dont have gills. Beavers for one. Seals and otters for another. Even whales dont have gills. Humans are just as much home in the water as water buffalo.

@calebsavage that mabey true but our bodys and muscle arent built to swim....... if they were we would be able to swim faster, hold our breath for longer, be able to swim deepper ..... but we cant because we are land mamals not marine. and also you do realise that sharks attack because we look like there food and there hungry there not gonna think about if its a fish, seal, turtle, or a human because when where in the water we ALL look the same. .... continued on to another comment

And there are TONS of people living in the tropics who have learned to hold their breaths for over five minutes while diving for pearls. The thing is, most people DONT spend enough time in the water. An the fact ur saying coconuts kill more people than sharks prove that its safer in water than on land, meaning everyone should get in the water!
