Someone explain to me why Transformers 2 was so bad! I mean the action was awesome, some of the comedy was really funny all 3 times I went to see it people were laughing there asses off, the visual effects were great, and the only reason the story had plot holes in it was because of the writers strike. And all I here is people bitch about how bad this movie is when they never name any specifics! They just say it sucks and that the story is awful. So please someone name a specific reason!!

Eh, I liked it but it still didn't live up to its full potential. It was hindered by it's horrible comedy, a Devastator that though looked cooler but was kill way too easily, a weaker Megatron, a useless Soundwave, a dipshit roommate and the amount of screen time spent on sam and his college life! Had they gotten rid of all those things the movie have been perfect!

Here is the thing. This movie everybody is/was hateing on is closer to the cartoon then part 1. The Action was top notch from beginning too end. I watched this in Imax and was blown away. Will the story go down as one of the best ever? No. Will Megan Fox ever be able to use more then one expression on her face? More then likely not. However this movie is great for what it is. A summer blockbuster with lots of action. I don't know what you guys were expecting.
