  • Yes I agree, He won by his skills, not the brace from his old injured right arm brace.

  • The dude was great--he always made so much noise in the ring and he knew how to cut a promo!

  • I remember this dude. He was funny. At the end of the match he'd Jack a guy with his mysterious arm brace. Goog showman!!!!

  • I rememb

  • At least he cuts a better promo than Cena.

  • Iron Mikle Sharpe really should have been a bigger star!

  • AAAARRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHH! *Raises Hands in the Air*

  • Canada's Greatest Athlete Indeed!

  • i'm an IRON MIKE TYSON fan,

but i gotta admit that IRON MIKE SHARPE was the original - "IRON MIKE"

  • I forgot about this commentator, Ken Resnick. The WWF started changing in September '86, and I think he came aboard around that time. I remember in general we just weren't getting as much bang for the buck anymore, and now I remember that Resnick was part of the problem. Before him the interviews were mainly done by Mean Gene, and he was a classic. Ventura interviewed some too, and he was great. Even McMahon's interviews were damn good. But Resnick was just a total straight-man, nothing funny.

  • Iron Mike could have gone straight to the top if his arm had ever healed...

  • @RAV52 rotflmao!

  • yeahhh !! lol come an !! theres an iron steel bar in the leather just like ace bob ortons cast ! they should post all iron mike sharp yelling videos

  • I remember watching Iron Mike on WWF wrestling back in the 1980's. He always seemed like someone who was on the verge of becoming a huge super star. But was never really given that one big chance.

  • Since when does an arm have endurance?

  • @synergix1 Since lactic acid created fatigue?

  • He was still there up until 1995 but just used to make their 'superstars' look good

  • gotta love Canadians

  • @Love4SK yup....all of us Canadians are exactly like this.

  • How could Canada's greatest athlete not be represented at the Olympics........Amazing!!

  • Was Iron Mike involved in the Olympic ceremony in Vancouver? He should have, he is Canada's strongest athlete.

  • He would have lifted that torch thing out of the ground!! Not like that wimp Gretzky who just stood there like a dope!

  • ken resnick, mike sharpe was a 2nd generation superstar, sharpe had the same defect with his arm that cowboy bob orton did; lol

  • What about THIS interviewer...Who is he? Did he quit/get fired for refusing to have gay sex too?

    Anyone know?

  • Don't shit talk Iron Mike, he tagged up with Hogan in Japan, and he worked his ass off in the ring!

  • Iron mike is the "Ric Flair" of jobbers of all time Baby.

  • @Miguels1374

He used to be a top tier wrestler in the WWF before the Hogan era. Back then, a guy would be pushed but after his push ended, he would slowly descend into jobberdom. It really wasn't until the late 80s/early 90s that Vince began to push, depush, and repush guys without changing their gimmick.

  • didnt know the wwf ever pushed this dude. Thought he was a jobber

  • Kinda. I think it lasted bout two weeks

  • he was a jobber to the stars, he wom squash matches back when the WWF was on UHF TV Channels but lost to bigger stars. No idea why he never made more of it, he had decent mic skills.

  • @Srd1126 Like CHCH in Hamilton(Cable 12),I and Iron Mike Sharpe's hometown.

  • He got a title shot against Bob Backlund

  • he also had an intercontental match against muraco...strange because they were both managed by albano at the time, great match though
