Secondo me con Arancia meccanica a poco a che fare, ma è vero anche che il regista non voleva fare qualcosa che assomigliava al capolavoro di Kubrik. Secondo me è un bel film, se vi leggete le idee del regista capirete che il trailer, perlomeno quello italiano, è solo un mischione di trovate pubblicitarie per attirare molti target a vedere il film. dal mio punto di vista è un film che va apprezzato. chiaramente i gusti son gusti.

Sick Michael Haneke has contributed to 'art'which anaesthesises people to violence implying its usual and maybe OK too.For 90min the audience is oppressed by being forced to watch 2 sick youths who descend on a family of 3 and torture them for 'fun' psychologically , physically and finally kill them all. The conclusion is that we love violence and we love hate but we don't feel guilty about our animal and primitive instincts. The only thing we care about is that the "good" guy MUST win against the "bad" AT ANY COST and he must die and he must suffer.

oh, i read interviews, etc. - the problem i think is he is not getting what he wants - the viewers are either bored or appalled, but i know of no one who actually got to the level of perception that haneke intended - it happened to me only after i saw pasolinis 'salo' that i moved up into the right mindspace... but i still have no intentions of seeing 'funny games' again - too painful- btw. i hate violent films in general, so i am not part of the 'target audience' anyway.
