dammmnn.. i went to that concert and missed the beginning i knew they had to of played "all i need" my fav song and i missed it!!! ahh :{ but the rest was amazing AMAZING NIGHT :} thanx for recording!
I am 34 years of age and have been to oh probably 40+ concerts in my life. This was without a doubt in my top 3. Excellent show. If you have never seen them live, you have to.
does anyone know where to get that intro track they play everytime in their concerts?? without the claps and screams of course, i want something like the "studio" version of it.
I went to both west palm and tampa concerts and they played it at both i don't think they'd play something thats not theres lots of bands just do shit live that they don't have on albums I mean just listen to the other songs from the concert theres tons of stuff in them that isn't in the studio versions before going to this i was thinking with their electronic sound it might not be as good live but i was wrong it was one of the craziest expieriences in my life
I'd love to know the answer to that myself! Please if anyone knows, post some info. I have a hunch that it is some early-period autechre, but their record catalog is tedious to say the least to search through (no lyrics, strange titles, similiar sounding songs) so let us know please!
A friend of mine who heard the music swears up and down its a piece by a (i believe) Japanese minamilist composer who utilized several video game sounds/effects....name totally escapes me now....
For sure, it shall be my temporary mission....
Also, Radiohead rocks and (p)owns everything awesome and cool.....
I'm sure they probably made it, and that we'll see it on an EP release or something of the like following the end of the tour. "Where Bluebirds Fly" came out on the Com Lag EP as the HTTT tour wound down, so I'd imagine something similar for this one. After all, they did say that they were heading into the studio again after the tour.
you´re right.... at the beggining of Glastonbury concert 2003, "where bluebirds fly" was the intro.... i want this one... "in rainbows concerts intro" sooooo cool¡¡
ok so I did some research and I think you are referring to Ryuichi Sakamoto. This particular song sounds really percussive and electronic though, so I have a hunch in may be culled from his collaborative albums with micro-house artist Alva Novo. Yet again though, with no lyrics for clues, its fucking impossible to find which specific song it is. If you have any luck let me know!
I just saw them yesterday in Dallas it was AWESOME!!! I was overwhelmed when Thom came out and even cried. If you like RH you can't miss this fantastic tour
I just got home in STL; I can barely type: 24 songs; 11 from Rainbows, and 2-3 from each earlier album. STL had "Optimistisc", Idioteque, Pyramid Song, You and Whose Army, There There, Myxamotosis, Gloaming, Kid A, Everthing... My Iron Lung, Plastic Trees, Airbag, Exit Music... Bangers and Mash, and all of In Rainbows> Fucking Mind Blowing. Go See Radiohead if you can; IT IS a Must See Concert!!!
when this started people went crazy. i had no idea what the song was going to end up but it was cool just as an intro. the funniest part of the show was when he said "so if you've got a fat one, light it up" or something. and double encore? this was great
Soo Soo awesome. We were rushing to our seats from the bathrooms at the opening and this just brings back all the excitement. I get goosebumps watching it too. Can't wait for Lollapaloooza!
I want to see them at the Hollywood Bowl but it's so expensive! Cheapest seats I could find were $172 and they were way off to the side and near the back.
ACK!!! I don't want to spoil my dinner. But it's so hard to wait till August here in San Diego. AHHHHRRK. But it's too beautiful.... C a n 't p u l l my eyes a w a y....
I was there mannnnnn....I was really therrrrrrre ;)
