  • 3 people can't see a true super hero when they see them.

  • They've got a great varsity squad...number 1 in all the barber polls. *snortlaugh*

  • 3:10 "roger will cocks"

  • I think sidekick Fred is a little /\/\/\/\/

  • the razor scene reminds me of the climax of "King Kong"

  • When I did Stage Managing or head of event security & punks try to give me hell 4 them being stupid, I always came back with only one thing.

" You knew the job was tough when you took it, Fred! '

Most looked at me sideways after that. Most are too young to get it!

  • "Too late."

  • Super Chicken has Bullwinkle on his wall as a trophy! LOL

  • PLAYCHICK! Just image the "rightous politically-correct "outrage if that was done on network saturday morning cartoon TV today.LOL I always wondered how the Astrodome was built.

  • When I was a kid this cartoon was funny just because it was a cartoon. Now as an adult it's freakin' hilarious. It's obvious that prior to the early 70s cartoons were in reality for adult audiences.

  • @czarman01 all of jay ward productions were meant to be enjoyed at different levels...unlike children's shows of today

ward wanted parents to watch the shows with the kids...the same concept is used by sesame street

  • @brabon1 Exactly, all saturday morning cartoons today are nothing but 30 minute infomercials for whatever toy the company is pushing.

  • Pittsbugh Barber College Varsity team: #1 in Barber Polls LOL

  • Playchick? A little randy for kid's shows.

After being defeated by Superchicken, Hair Piece found refuge on William Shatner.

This was obviously before Pittsburgh Steelers became Super Bowl champs. The Steel Curtain would've easily defeated the Hair Piece.

  • FREDISGOD @_@

  • hahah i thought i was the only one who saw the playchick mag

  • Daws Butler voices Dr. Clubney while Paul Frees voices Igor.

  • Fred gets all the best lines.

  • I just noticed that he was reading an issue of "PlayChick" in a penthouse! xDDD

  • Super pollo, el mejor super heroe de la historia. que Superman, que Batma, que el Hombre Araña. Super Pollo, es el verdadero idolo de las caricaturas.

  • This is pretty funny. I think when I saw this as a kid, I didn't catch a lot of the jokes.

  • Lol known to a favored view as Pupsie.

  • 1967...

  • This hair episode is one of my staples.

  • So funny! I have watch this a second time to catch all the puns and inuendos.

  • Why aren't these cartoons on DVD? They are funnier than anything on telly today, and I do mean anything.

  • They were/are. They were part of the cartoon series George of the Jungle.

Each GotJ animated episode from back then had a GotJ episode, a Super Chicken episode, and then a Tom Slick episode.

  • I know they are part of the George of the Jungle show. They aren't on DVD either.

  • kool video

  • i love this vidoes how do you do this!!!!!!!

  • I had to look up what Tularemia was, mentioned at 5:31.

  • Rabbit Fever... which goes to hare, which goes to... naw, you don't think Jay Ward would bury his puns that deep, do you?

    Of course he would.

    XD

  • Igor has the same voice as Boris Badenov.

  • This one is the best.

For those who don't remember, at this time Playtex had a "Living Bra." There is one or two other allusions to contemporary advertising crap, but I cannot remember them right now.

  • At 2:06 reading a PLAYCHICK magazine...

    Priceless!!!

  • hahahahah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • One of my favorite episodes. This however comes from a houstonian

  • dyed itself blonde and pretended to be a wheat feild lol

  • the inky night

  • i see what you're doing aren't you ashamed of yourself? aaaaahahahahahahaha!!!!!

  • You can say that again TokoGT. I saw this about 20 years ago and I am 99 percent sure it was my ONLY episode. Now it looks wackier than I remember. Back then I would not have known what a draft board, let alone "being classified 1-A" meant. A master stroke indeed.

I am looking for different stuff I watched as a kid and this thing just popped into my head, simple search and voila. Found this apparently totally obscure thing. Youtube does it again.

  • Does anyone remember The Super Six and where I can find more info? Thanks :-)

  • number one in all the barber polls, classic

  • Omigod, this is classic! I loved this, El Kabong and Dudley Doo-Right of the Mounties -- and Tom Slick! Remember Slick's race when the creature wanted the reconstituted catfish whiskers? LOL And their Nemesis were never "last" but in "second place," except when the were first then Dudley was "last." Today's kids are missing out on the best animation out there.

  • when i was little this was my favorite show didn't miss an episode

  • this is like the only episode I can remember of this show lol
