I'm heart broken, I'm really afraid to watch this episode. Whyyyyy only a few minutes to enjoy the engagement of Gwen and Arthur, they could have split on the next episode. We are soooooooo happy for them and in the next minute they split. Thanks to Morgana this was caused by magic but for how long would WE ALL( fans, Arthur, Gwen, Merlin, Gaius) have to suffer, until arthur realises that . Whyyyyyy, Whyyyyyyyy?!!!

in the orignal story modred forced guinevere to marry him after tricking arhtur to go a way their was no lancelot and gwen affair that was added years later to spice it up a little, i do hope they all find out that she was enchanted and did not actually cheat on arthur.

This was a very powerful episode. It truly changes the series. The acting was simply amazing. I'm heartbroken for Gwen and Arthur. It may not be true to the original legend, but they belong together in this version.

What a brilliant episode. It's not my favourite, purely because it splits Gwen and Arthur up (however temporary)....but everything else was amazing. The plot. The acting. ESPECIALLY the acting. This ep is a must-watch because it truly changes things in Camelot forever. When Arthur says to Merlin, right at the very end..."In time, I may come to forgive Guinevere but I will never trust her again" my heart BROKE. Because he will now have that extra guard up, even when Gwen gets cleared of all wrong

Man people keep saying that they are happy Lancelot died! He was awesome! Sure he did have the annoying habit of liking Gwen, but he was going to let her go, and he was all the things a proper knight should be! :P It just sucks that Lancelot now may not be a good guy now...

@slash1dot1dash you're totally right! I was a little bit in shock when lancelot died, i totally didn't expect it and i find it a great lost. So i hope he'll turn good anyways, but i think he than has a mad arthur around him and he doesn't know the reason why. Hmm i wanna know what they are gonna do with lancelot, i don't suppose merlin can kill his old friend even when he is evil....

the story is all about gwen and arthur, but i want a girlfriend for merlin! i mean he can't stay in love with a lake for his whole life right :P So or they give back the lady of the lake or another girl comes in merlins story but please give him some love too ;)

NO!!!!!!! Starz's Camelot, Excalibur's, Mists of Avalon, First Knight's, and now another cheating Gwen? Are BBC writers trying to destroy ARWEN permanently because they are succeeding so far? What is the actual love story? ARWEN or Gwen/Lancelot? Writers should make up their minds.

@doctorsam000 It is Arthur/Gwen. You shouldn't doubt Arthur/Gwen. Do you honestly think they would destroy Guinevere's character after building her for the whole show as this amazing young woman? Really. And they said that the love triangle would have a TWIST and would be UNEXPECTED. Is there anything unexpected ore twisted with her and Lancelot simple cheating? The answer is NO. So please chill out. It is Arthur/Gwen in this version.

I can not wait to see this episode! It is going to be SO amazing! Finally! The proposal we have all been waiting for since they fell in love. If lancelot messes this up, I am going to cry (and be really, really upset).
