I came across this whilst searching for some help learning this track for a duo I'm in. This is by far the best version ( no disrespect to the others btw:) ) imho so thank you for uploading it. I'm almost there after a couple of hours getting the feel of the riff:) As the other comment says, the sound is perfect. Job well done mate! Gazza

I keep coming back to this video, it's absolutely perfect, you have the same sound and feel as Marr does, when I first watched it, I actually thought you were miming. Best cover on YouTube by far. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the tabs from and the backing tracks, I really want to attempt to play this song. Favouriting!

@GlAmPoPpRiNcEsS: thanks for your comments. I think miming to this track would be just as difficult as playing it! The backing track is from the Play Guitar With The Smiths book (which also has tab). Also check out smithsonguitar.blogspot.com for guitar info for all of The Smiths tracks. One final note: I got the first few notes that are under the lyrics 'what difference does it make?' from a tab I found back in the late 90s when the Net was just a baby - it's unlikely that's what Johnny plays.
