@ruxiist The 4S resolution does not fall into a proper aspect ratio (960x640 not (x540 - qHD)) while the GNexus with the 720p display falls well within a 16:9 ratio. This gives perfect fit for image and video on the Nexus while you sometimes see black spaces on the 4S. Nobody notices the difference between 326ppi (4S) from 316ppi- even if it is RGBG PenTile (GNexus); but there is a vast difference between a 4.5inch Super Amoled HD screen and the 3.5 screen of the 4S.
Also, with my phone i want it to be as light, slim and as portable as possible... but with modern day phones they are pushing the boundaries of pocket size and will soon only be useful as either aq tablet or home or in a bag being carried by you.
When i get a phone, i generally want it to look good! Although the nexus has large capabilities with 4G and a better call quality, the iphone 4s generally looks better and feels better, aesthetically and kinetically.
samsung+android= the Ferrari of cell phones. GS2 and GN are the best hardware available at the moment. If you were to put the apple OS on a samsung device it would destroy this 4s unit.

iOS's UI is better than Androids, iOS is more secure and obviously more stable.

Funny... I'm available for an upgrade soon with Verizon, and these are the two phones I'm considering. I'm coming from a Blackberry, and I'm not a "Fanboy" of either iOS or Android. Nexus devices are Google's "special development lineup" with vanilla Android; that means, even though they dont have top notch hardware, a Nexus device will be the first to receive updates straight from Google without carrier restriction either. Google updated the old Nexus S with ICS right after the Galaxy Nexus.
As for other older phones that dont get the update, custom roms are always there.
@MIkeness101 Android is open source. Android has WAY more companies. Android has more phones. Some have QWERTYs. There is even an Android phone with TWO screens (possible more phones like that). Android phones can be "rooted". Android phones have much more customization in their OS. Android OS has more Skins by different companies. Apple's current design is some kind of sexy. But after having an EVO 4G, hard to go back to a smaller screen, and no 4G (Even though it's not LTE) although I miss iOS ... kinda. I love the scrolling mechanics on Apple devices, that I've yet to encounter on any Android device. iPhone also has better apps, and a hell of a lot more third party support. And now that it's on Sprint, I'm tempted ... I'm only two months away from an upgrade. I'll wait until LTE hits Chicago, then see what's what.
in rendering comparison you have the screensize into consideration because nexus has bigger resolution so "more" images will come up on screen hence slowing down the rendering..

samsung+android= the Ferrari of cell phones. GS2 and GN are the best hardware available at the moment. If you were to put the apple OS on a samsung device it would destroy this 4s unit.

iOS's UI is better than Androids, iOS is more secure and obviously more stable.
I've tried Android on multiple devices and never got to like it as much as you guys. The customisation isn't everything and is the only reason people say Android is better than iOS.

Funny... I'm available for an upgrade soon with Verizon, and these are the two phones I'm considering. I'm coming from a Blackberry, and I'm not a "Fanboy" of either iOS or Android. Objectively, they are both great phones. I'm just trying to decide which one I like more... The iPhone 4s has an amazing camera, and that's the main thing weighing me toward it. Also, coming from my Bold 9650, both screens will be a major upgrade haha.

Nexus devices are Google's "special development lineup" with vanilla Android; that means, even though they dont have top notch hardware, a Nexus device will be the first to receive updates straight from Google without carrier restriction either. Google updated the old Nexus S with ICS right after the Galaxy Nexus.
As for other older phones that dont get the update, custom roms are always there.

@MIkeness101 Android is open source. Android has WAY more companies. Android has more phones. Some have QWERTYs. There is even an Android phone with TWO screens (possible more phones like that). Android phones can be "rooted". Android phones have much more customization in their OS. Android OS has more Skins by different companies. The back cover can be taken off of the usual Android phone, along with the battery to be replaced. Most Android phones have MicroSD cards. That's a bunch

Apple's current design is some kind of sexy. But after having an EVO 4G, hard to go back to a smaller screen, and no 4G (Even though it's not LTE) although I miss iOS ... kinda. I love the scrolling mechanics on Apple devices, that I've yet to encounter on any Android device. iPhone also has better apps, and a hell of a lot more third party support. And now that it's on Sprint, I'm tempted ... I'm only two months away from an upgrade. I'll wait until LTE hits Chicago, then see what's what.
