  • Be careful of your neck when you do sit-ups like that. You can pull neck muscles very easily. You can get just as good a crunch by having your hands to your sides, or crossed infront of your chest and raising yourself as far as you comfortably can. You don't need to sit yourself all the way up as long as you are feeling the burn.
