You have to seek God. You may feel like he's lost you. But he hasn't. He is always by your side. He made a promise to always be by your side. It's your job to go out and seek him. Work towards that, open the door towards him. Seek him and the door shall be opened. It's not like you are going to bump into him. You must find him. :) Hope this helps anyone. :D

This is so amazing! This is how we are meant to live. Pressed right up against our amazing God. Nothing should get in our way-no sin, no habit--nothing. Joyous repentance removes anything between me and HIm. His grace covers all our sin and provides for salvation, but we still need to continual turn our heart to His and away from anything that takes the place of His love and comfort. Our security should be in Him and Him alone.

Get in a good Bible based church and learn the Word, so that nobody will be able to mislead you and pull you away. Don't buy into the signs and wonders and prayer soaking movement... God does miracles, but He isn't the author of confusion. If people LOOK drunk, run! If they start acting weird and flopping around and stumbling around, leave. Always try the spirits. If it is God, it will be Biblical.
@Ravvenn1 Well praise God. The Bible says that all of Heaven rejoices when just one is saved. There is a party going on in Heaven for you. A word of caution: Satan will tempt you and will do everything in his power to separate you from God. Don't listen to Him. From one who went down that path before: it's not worth it. Spend at least half an hour with God everyday. When reading the Bible I would start in the New Testament. It's easier to understand the Old Testament.

wow the first time i ever heard this song i loved it. We started practicing this song for our youth services...this song has really been a blessing to my life.
this reminds me of my first real encounter with God when i came to a point in my life i knew i needed something more, I needed Jesus, i went to an apostolic church and there at an alter surrendered myself to God and repented of my sins and God lifted those burdens that i had carried and filled me with the Baptism of the holy ghost i felt so much love and peace and joy it was awesome.

@Ravvenn1 Praise God! He is so good! Be careful... there are wolves amongst the sheep. Get in a good Bible based church and learn the Word, so that nobody will be able to mislead you and pull you away. Don't buy into the signs and wonders and prayer soaking movement... God does miracles, but He isn't the author of confusion. If people LOOK drunk, run! If they start acting weird and flopping around and stumbling around, leave. Always try the spirits. If it is God, it will be Biblical.

@Ravvenn1 Well praise God. The Bible says that all of Heaven rejoices when just one is saved. There is a party going on in Heaven for you. A word of caution: Satan will tempt you and will do everything in his power to separate you from God. Don't listen to Him. From one who went down that path before: it's not worth it. Spend at least half an hour with God everyday. When reading the Bible I would start in the New Testament. It's easier to understand the Old Testament.

No other 10 point plans or methods work- they just confuse. I pray you will find a strong Bible believeing chruch which does not compromise. The Lord will always be with you and its in the darkest times you will grow the most so dont despair when He takes you through dark times- stay with your faith- He will reward you.

@firebird731137 Na, but I warn these people that many think they will go to Heaven and yet Hell is ready to devore them, with its mouth wide open they hang above the flame, for no one atones for their sin. They say "we are born again, and He has surely saved us" and they read Scripture, talk like a Christian but their heart is full of sin, and the evidence of their faith is not there. I looked and saw it not, I turned by eyes and yet it is not there.

this reminds me of my first real encounter with God when i came to a point in my life i knew i needed something more, I needed Jesus, i went to an apostolic church and there at an alter surrendered myself to God and repented of my sins and God lifted those burdens that i had carried and filled me with the Baptism of the holy ghost i felt so much love and peace and joy it was awesome.

If not, oh well. it was worth it. I walk with my own trials and tribulations all the time. I know what you mean by ppl putting down christianity. You just have to over look it, and pray for them. Either way, it is worth it in the end. you will live a good life being a christain either way! :)

@mdhf - and to all others who have a negative attitude towards the Great Almighty, as well as His believers: I WILL PRAY FOR YOU!!! He is real and He is waiting for you to need Him. I spent years away from His Love, and I can honestly feel His presence (His peace, His joy, His love) in my life. There is no science... no explaination necessary: ITS CALLED FAITH. You can't PROVE the theory of love, but it is REAL... you can feel it. And I pray that you will someday embrace it.
