@maria22issexi Well I moved out of NY last summer so I can't say how it is now but it wasn't TOO dirty when I was there but it definitely wasn't the cleanest. If I rank it 1-10 where 1 is an oil spill and 10 is a tropical beach I'd say 5?

THE SHOW SUCKED just ask all the people that wanted to enjoy the beach on the 5,6,7 when most of jones beaches were closed because of all the 100S OF shells that washed up on shore WHY ARE THE SHELLS IN THE WATER ANYWAY???????

This year, I really wished to be on LI, Jones Beach for the July 4th fireworks.

It's wonderful to watch them live. They do a terrific job.

Yeah... They had music blasting though and I can't put copyrighted music on youtube, even after they blast it out to tens/hundreds of thousands of people at the event. Would have been nice if I was at least able to get the 'boom's' but alas I was not :( They had some good music too. Started off with Back to the Future lol. Anyway, I hope the music I chose for it instead isn't too bad =]

There were a lot of people there, but it wasn't crowded. I was off to the right (when looking at the tower) so wasn't in the exact center so that might explain why it did look empty, but yeah it was spacious. I think when I went to the air show a month earlier there were more people there.
