mexican government is rotten to the core. evil prevails in mexico. the people should rise up agianst the basterds. there is no other way. death to evil!!
Are there any men in Mexico? Men who will stop this insanity. Men who will hunt down these animals and bring their terror to an end? Find them. Stop them. Free yourselves of shame and terror.
Id just carry a weapon if i were them they shoud be allowed to do something then they will get sentenced trying to protect them selves its no justice really
Watch the movie "BORDER TOWN" Jennifer Lopez and Antonia Banderez
Not only are there drug related killings, but hundreds of young factory women from all over Mexico since 1993 are being beaten, raped, strangled, then buried or thrown into mass graves. many local residents believe that the true count stands at an estimated 5,000 victims. Most of the cases remained unsolved as of 2003, and are still unsolved today (Mexican Police & Free Trade Agreement cover up is why you don't hear about it.)
Mexican goberment only cares about big bussines, big money, and rich people. Poor people is never been their priority. They do not give them even a place to speak out their cry for help. They can be drug cartels smuggling drugs and killing women(poor) as long as it does not interupt factories producction and money coming in...everything would be just fine.Looking for guilty ones??? MEXICAN GOBERMENT IS THE ANSWER.
I really appreciate what you did here. An honest attempt to something so hainous I pray to God one day will be resolved and that the ones behind this are revealed and set for punishment. But, as an aspiring filmmaker, I think you did an amazing job. Great choice was the silent movie. It corresponds to the reality of it. It is the silent voices of the women, it is the silent tortures of the evil that only leave the ramins for us to see. What made you want to make a movie on this subject?
One day there was a protest in El Paso, TX. It was directed toward apathy of the police in Juarez, Mexico to try to counteract the murders. Nothing had been done. A elderly woman had come from across the border, one of her daughters had been a victim. She spoke. It was the saddest day of everyone's life.
Well, I admire you for doing something in return...your film should be advertised. More needs to be put out there in order for people to actually listen. It's not too late.
Unfortunately, I do not believe that anyone knows exactly what went on. These murders were pointless and happened in secret; and what happened to the hundreds of women between the time they were last seen alive and the time they were found is still debated and covered up by the powers that be. There are some powerful books and documentaries that interview parents/siblings/spouses/friends of the victims. "The Daughters of Juarez" comes to mind.
There's a great documentary that came out recently: Senorita Extraviada which documents many of the cases and has multiple interviews of family members, and government officials.
@NoGoldenGoose It actually shows no one can be trusted if you go out on a simple date your dead because the women are not important so everyone knows they can get away with murder so why not in a crazy lunatics eyes
@NoGoldenGoose It shows a lot about what is going on. Women are not heard, they are thought of a property and their bodies not respected. Murder is a fashion there. This is a very emotional piece...
i also know it isn't that simple. i feel i want to do something to help the lives fo these inocent women, but what can we do? and i hate thesay that. it makes me feel like an uncaring foreigner. Has it gotten better since 1993? or the same?
Years after I made this short Mexican Authorities had caught a man who was allegedly murdering these women. I may be mistaken but he was a serial killer. However, the problem goes much further than that. I believe that the murders and other crimes go unnoticed because of corruption in the government.
it so sad that these womens stories go untold. thanks for the fascinating and intelligent movie. i wish there was something that could be don. could we as American gone inthere and transfer these women to shelters, help them become legalized so they can work and live here legally? would the city of Juarez allowed it? Who is to blame here? It's terrible to see that even today, misogony rules in some countries.

Although very artistic this video does nothing to explain whats going on. How about a couple of actual cases?
