I am so pissed how they brought him back in Season 7. Pete deserved better. The writers instead of working with Sam Jones and developing the character, took the lazy route and made him the token black guy. Sam is a good actor. He could've done a great job.

i like this scene...shows the huge difference between clark's freindship with Lex and his friendship with Pete...and also Clark's character reguarding his powers..he could never trust Lex to revel his powers like this ...first Lex cannot grasp having such power and not using for your gain and would ultimely try to destroy Clark to somehow gain this power(or least control it to his own puposes) the Clark/Pete friendship is pure and good.

@vardiss22 Well, when Pete first found out he didn't want to hang out with Clark - he got all scared and freaked by him. I'm sure Lex would be awed and NOT be freaked although, as you said he might ahve used the powers for profit.

A heartwarming scene. Smallville has always been more about Clark and his relationships with the people around him. it's a diff. show now. I miss Pete, Lex, Lana, Jonathan, Martha. lol thats a lot of missing cast members

I love how the song reflects what's going on in the episode. The beginning started of with with song and the phrase :im much to strange for this ordinary world" kind of reflected how clark felt. Now that hes told pete his secret "it's just an ordinary day"

this scene makes u have a good feeling inside, there is such a better feeling u have when u watch smallville around 1-3 seasons compared now in season 9 when the only remaining people from the original cast is clark and chloe but the story has to go on and clark has to become superman and leave friends behind = (

@NikeThe ..yeah i agree REALLY enjoyed the first two seasons alot.....the characters seemed really true to the storylines and character arcs (especially Clark and Lex) that whole dynamic is gone now and the show is stuck in a grey area storywise between the end of the show and the start of Clark actually becoming Superman

i wanted sam to have more lines and his charcter b well developed. given a love interest by the name of chole sullivan seeing and knowing clark ignore chole who only wants friendship. exploring the kiss and confession he gave and told chole perferablly in season 1. in addition to dialog with lana lang.
