this is only 1 type of grip for the forehand. There are many more like the power grip. this is a control grip.

I'm a newb and that grip doesn't even work for me. The two fingers inside the rim works great for me however.

the V grip is weaker in terms of power but it add more accuracy. Meanwhile, the two fingers inside the rim adds the power. They call it the power grip just like the one for backhand.

i started off with this grip but i didint work for me i have my own way. its were you use two fingers on the inside of the ring and the third is pointing to the middle.
