@Mons8a I bought this guitar in 1989/90. It was one of the very last batch of guitars made in the Usa before Bernie Rico sold the company. It's a real beauty, such a precision instrument. Everyone who plays it falls in love with it, unfortunatley for them, so do I. I've lost count of the amount of times i've beeen asked to sell it. I've played one of the recent re-issues and they're pretty close,

What is a pickup???

@hazzaman2k4 It's basically an electro magnet which measures the oscillation in the magnetic field when a string is vibrating, the resutling signal is then reproduced as sound from an amplifier. Hope that helps lol
