This is NOT a rendition of the Ventures tune "Walk Don't Run". This is a very good cover of the original jazz version of "Walk Don't Run" as written and recorded by Johnny Smith. The Ventures took this version (as they did with other standards such as "Perfidia", "Lullaby of the Leaves", and "Slaughter on 10th Avenue"), simplified it, and gave it a rock beat. This is not to say I don't like the Ventures, I am a hugh Ventures fan, and I can be found here on YouTube playing their rendition.
