  • @kookiegod123 you learn something new everyday don't you? don't let ignorance get the best of you. pick up a book or something.

  • @ClassicCoolProd That was a joke commenting on the economical situation and living conditions of Ethiopia. Maybe it is you that needs to read books eh?

  • @kookiegod123 living conditions are fine in ethiopia. my parents grew up there and they were happy.

  • @ClassicCoolProd If everything was fine and dandy there wouldn't be so much foreign aid going to Ethiopia, or so many people dying everytime there's a drought.

  • @ClassicCoolProd AHAHAHA "living conditions are fine"... don't make an idiot of yourself

  • @AdamInTdot silly people like you, don't know what being educated means! ;)

Yes, we eat organic. We have this tiny thing called "TEFF" that is loaaded with Vitamins and Minerals w/o mentioning that it is Gultein free. Then, there is meat and beans and lentelis and lots of cabbages. Oh yes, cheese from grass fed cows, and last but not least, our orgainal coffee without Starbucks brand ! Thank God !

  • @Konjit4lyff You might be true there! I had Ethiopian food for the first time tonight, and I have to say....IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!

  • Currently, Ethiopia is the top coffee and honey-producing country in Africa, and home to the largest livestock population in Africa.

  • Yummy food - I made a wat using goat meat and the Berbere seasoning for Doro wat (not quite as much hot chile, used Ancho, Cascabel and Thai) Was a special occasion for my son and it came out really good! Saveur magazine site has a basic Berbere recipe and you can alter the spice as you like.

  • i wish to have all these tasy dishes...I will eat them in a glance !! The Veggies, the mat and fish dishes!!

  • great job on the video, love it

  • Ethiopian food is very delicious but with the exception of few restaurants, people have not mastered how to present it to new ppl. Restaurants who figure out how to interface with their customers that are new to Ethiopian cuisine will benefit themselves and their community. By the way, Ethiopian food is hardly represented by the restaurants. I can easily think thousands of kinds of ethiopian food....tibs/kitfo are just 2 out of a thousand.

  • same like kurdish foods delicious

  • w000t shouro ftw ! :D

  • mmm, miss that tips

  • Axum, Lalibela, Gondar are also Somali! Hahahahaha what a jokestar you are man. Stick with the camel milk and butter bra.

  • there's a party in my pants

  • can someone steer me in the right direction of a good doro wat recipe?

  • Oh come on. Somalians have no culture.

  • Interesting idea sir, could you please prove it, some significant Historical fact or a book or something ?

  • Aha aha ahaha, ahaha

WTF are u talking about? I'm not even sure if u've ever tryed to read about Somali agriculture. Tef, which enjera is made from is not one of them, Just flip through books or a visit will help

  • Yummyyyyyyyyyyyyyy :]

  • I can only find this in Washington DC but i love it so delicious

  • انجرا اصلي هههههههههههه

  • i love ethiopian food alot. my husband make it all the time (he is from addis)i specially like shro (??)or how u write it.

but is it true that its not common to eat pig in ethio, regardless of religion. ?

  • Yes... bcuz there is christian and muslim and none of them eat pig. I don even think there is pig there, LOL.

  • lol your loss man , its good shit !

  • yooooo be care how can u disrespect habesh with ur bati business

  • can sumone tell me who sings this song?

  • Genene Haile sings "Fikeryehoy" or "Fikrie Hoy Ebakish Temekeri". Originally done by Tilahun Gessesse. I just found out myself-it's on another video here as a mix. Look up keyword "djdalion", also "Club Addis" (Part 1).

  • Thank you very much!

  • man! I am hungry...........

  • There is nothing like Ethiopian Soal food. My mother's is the best in the states but to eat in Ethiopia, esp. the Injera is undiscribable! Nice mouthwatering video

  • So far, the only thing that seems hard about Ethiopian cooking is making the injerra. If your cooking surface isn't level, you have a problem.

So far, I have tried Abesha gomen, atar alecha, bamya alecha, doro wat, ful and a chickpea stew that I downloaded from somewhere. Now that I don't feel hungry all the time, I seem to be losing weight without feeling tired. I just wish I could find teff flour for less that $5 a pound. Making my own berbere mix saves a bit of money, though,

  • Someone must label foods on this video!

  • Weye!!!!! kemegeb keteta wede torenet :)

  • @yibespoi like the weye!!! bit ....

  • I love Ethiopian food!!

  • Ethiopian Food is pretty Good, however of the same kind always. It must be of different variety, than the one actually consumed indifferent parts of the world/.
