I didn't know Goliath was Mason Ryan in WWE, but I DID know that Oblivion is now Magnus in TNA. As far as legends vs gladiators goes, ok the gladiators of 2008-2009 would be quicker against the legends NOW. But if you put them against each other in their prime the legends of the 90's would cream the new breed!

@3rdDarthVader To be honest i've not seen WWE/F since about 1994,5? ish. When Ultimate Warrior was about. Was an amusing show as a kid. But not seen it since so can't say i knew that dude went off to WWE. They must be scraping the barrel for wrestlers if he got a job on that show!

I guess because I wasn't alive when the old gladiators was on I cant really say that this one is better but I can definately diagree with you that is FULL OF CRAP because it isn't!!! Its Brilliant and I watch it every saturday ;D Love you Spartan ♥

the new show is a joke! the origional gladiators would have beat any of the new lot. Shadow,Hunter,Warrior,Vulcan,S­aracen for the men lightning, panther,scorpio, rio nightshade for the women. obviously they are years and years older than the lastest glads, but in their day there would have been no competition. they have dropped some of the old games because they where too physical .

Shame this show was cancelled, because it was amazing fun. Sky 1's advertisement and marketing were all off, and you never knew when it was on half the time. Tragic.

Its a shame of what happened to all of the Gladiators series, they were done as soon as they begun.
