What a wonderful idea to combine Tong Ren with healing bowls. And quite beautiful too. Thank you for this video. It in itself was realy quite soothing.
I hope that he isn't suggesting that he is the only one working with these instruments in a meaningful way. There are others who go beyond the mere striking of these things and actually who work with a deeper understanding of what lives in a single bowl than this guy.
Karma Moffatt, Jacob Iobst, Danny Becher, Mitch Nurr, Vlasta Marek, & most particularly a guy called Frank Perry (he's got a video on his sound healing on youtube and another from the 80's talking about his work with singing bowls).
I don't know why but tears started streaming down when I heard the Bowl singing and I felt great. like a great weight has lifted out my chest ( liver actually, I have pain in there for a few days and now it gone. no joke) Thanks for the Video
Oh my, what an extraordinarily sensitive kind of beauty. Doug's heart is open, and that intentionality comes through in this gorgeous conversation between him and the bowls. Thank you.

Interesting how he says this is different than just Tibetan bowl singing. All I know is I felt something!
