pukhtoon are from persian nomads and indian races mixed. they are closer to pakistan-india than to iran culturally. they look closer to the persians, but persians are shia muslims in majority, while pukhtoons majority are sunni muslims. pukhtoons are the lone group you may find in central asia(afghan,khyber pukhtoonkhwa) who are similar to indians in culture. groups like uzbeks,tajik,hazaras are not related groups while pukhtoons keeps closer tie with pakistan(which is india) than to iran.

the video is very informative itself but I wonder how on earth is it possible that we have so many similarities with the Israelites but not linguistic. They say if you have to compare two civilizations, go for the languages first as languages always have new vocabulary but the tone and structure never change. Apart from the Persian language, I have been comparing Pashto with many Central Asian languages and I have found so many similar words. Even Polish and Swedish languages have Pashto words.

Hebrew as a spoken language survived only on religious scrolls until it was revived in the 1800s. Pashtuns are no different. After they were exiled from israel by assyrian invasion they adapted local Bactrian language of khorasan which they added arab and panjabi vocabs to become pashto. Israelite identity however was kept.
