I have watched a lot of this guys videos, often in utter shock. The first time I watched it was glowingly clear that he comes from some kind of Christian evangelical background. His rhythm, rapid-fire reduction of profound teachings, and vocabulary slips reveal his early church influences. Turns out that he was raised in an evangelical family but converted and studied at a Yeshiva in Israel. He addresses some really good subjects at times, such as contradictions with the state if Israel, but...
Oh BLA BLA BLA!! Dear Rabbi Ghetto- Here you are claiming that the Prophets are "commentary" and yet you're the FIRST not offering the 5sacrifices for atonement in Leviticus! Deal with it bubba... Whether you like it or not- you already are under the NEW COVENANT- how do I know? When was the last time you sacrificed a lamb? Ah- but Abraham sacrificed BEFORE the Law! You have absolutely NO atonement for sin-- that's what blood was given for bun...
@simdes13 No, no estoy loco...aqui los locos son ustedes. I speak the truth to your ghetto Rabbi, and then you have no qualms with calling me a "Jesus Freak?" YES!! I believe in the Messiah of Israel- in Jesus Christ.
But look at the hypocrisy of this video and philosophy- you adhere to TORAH- so where are the sacrifices?
@tainorebelde1 challenge me :) We can argue all night and jesus was not the messiah, thats the whole point, period. No, you proof to ME, not I to YOU ! ;)
@kanaiboded Right....Your ignorance (and of you ghetto Rabbi) is the pre-conceived notion that the Christian interpretation of the Scriptures is based on a VOID...that it is a heresy that grew in and out of itself... all the while you ignore the very interpretations concerning the suffering Messiah in the Targums and among the Rabbis. Wake up-
The point is... SHOW ME WHERE TORAH TEACHES YOU CAN ATONE WITHOUT BLOOD besides the exception for the POOR! You have no atonement.
@tainorebelde1 God gave BLOOD to serve as atonement for one's sins- all other acts ACCOMPANY the blood (life). Rabbinical Judaism has twisted it around... but the Law is Firm and does not lie...
Atonement without blood is the EXCEPTION, not the RULE... Now, whenever you're ready to prove WITH SCRIPTURE that Blood for Atonement is NOT the rule, I'll be ready to wrestle with you. Otherwise, red herrings will be ignored.
@tainorebelde1 Funny, and you want an honest conversation? Suffering servant? No problem with that, but this still makes not jesus the true messiah ;) Many jews suffered on roman crosses. Atonement? Sure, prayer, repentance, read Hosea 14:2-3. Take words with you and return to the LORD. Say to him: “Forgive all our sins and receive us graciously, that we may offer the fruit of our lips." Sacrifices always were an OPTION! Please, don´t rape OUR scriptures.
@kanaiboded HAHAHAHA!!!! THANK YOU for actually PROVING my point!! You can't use THE TORAH- which is what our beloved ghetto Rabbi says is PRIMARY (and the rest is commentary- etc. according to him). I asked you to bring a citation from TORAH- and you bring forth a prophet! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Concerning "your" Scriptures- perhaps you should read Ezekiel 47: 21-23 and chew on it for a little while.
@kanaiboded -- you are an amateur. Isn't the House of the Lord to be called a "House of Prayer to ALL NATIONS?" Isaiah 56:7... Shame on you for trying to hog the Scriptures. God is NOT AN ISRAELITE. He is the God of ALL NATIONS. Shame on you.
You don't believe that Jesus is the Messiah simply because you don't want to- regardless of the Scriptural evidence. Of this- God will hold you accountable. And you will cry as one who cries for a firstborn- Zech. 12:10
@kanaiboded Also, if I might add- this whole "become a Jew" evangelism is hogwash. The Bible clearly says: "It was you who set all the boundaries of the earth.." Psalm 74: 17 You don't worship GOD- you worship a superiority complex- you hijacked the title of Jew- because in your eyes its not good enough to be a Gentile. Shame on you- God makes no distinction based on cultural/ethnic background.
"Are you Israelites not the same to me as the CUSHITES...?" Amos 9:7
@kanaiboded Answer with Scripture... He says: "It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light To the GENTILES, that you may bring MY SALVATION TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH."
What other Jew has accomplished this among the GENTILES?? Neither Gamaliel, nor Rambam, nor Nachman nor any other Rabbi. Jesus is LORD.
@tainorebelde1 And He said, “It is too light for you to be, etc.”: In My eyes, it is too small a gift that you should have this alone, that you be My servant to establish Jacob and to bring back to Me the besieged of Israel, and behold I add more to you, “And I will make you a light for the nations,” to prophesy concerning the downfall of Babylon, which will be a joy for the whole world.
@tainorebelde1 and the besieged of Israel: Heb. וּנְצוּרֵי. Comp. (Prov. 7:10) “With a heart surrounded by evil thoughts (וּנְצֻרַת),” that their heart is surrounded by the inclination of sinful thoughts, like a city besieged by a bulwark of those who besiege it.
@613degrees Dear Sir- Haven't you ever heard of the saying: "A proof-text out of context is a pretext?" You're furbishing a load of proof texts out context in your effort to prove that Blood Sacrifices were either NOT necessary or that they were OPTIONAL. All the while you purposely ignore the Torah. You also facetiously fail to recognize that God demands BOTH true REPENTANCE (expressed in various forms) AND SACRIFICES! Of course a meek heart is greater...continued--
Fine i gave proof text (1 Kings, Hoshea 14:3, 2,2 Dibh're Hayyamim 7:14,) All of which are cleary in the context of a period of exile with no temple ( as is the case today).
You on the other had fail to recognize that all the sacrifices in the Torah can not be done with out a Temple, alter, or a functioning priestly cast. So the Torah laws dont apply . But G-d told us what to do RE: the proof text i provided.
@613degrees Major FAIL--- God NEVER commanded a TEMPLE- he commanded a TABERNACLE! The "Priest Class" is known by the Rabbis... Implements are currently being made in ISRAEL-
This "sacrifices don't apply" is a load of bolony- and you know it. Its a MANIPULATION of Scripture. Your proof texts are actually out of context-- the ONLY thing impeding Jews from sacrifices is Talmudic Judaism.
@613degrees All throughout the Bible LIFE and BLOOD is demanded as atonement for sin- The ONLY reason you reject the Biblical commandment to use blood for atonement is because then you can attempt to Justify that the Messiah's blood was not to serve as an atonement for sin- (Is. 53:10).
@613degrees Leviticus 17: 8-9 "Any Israelite or any alien living among them who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice and does not bring it to the entrance to the TENT OF MEETING to sacrifice it to the LORD- that man MUST BE CUT OFF FROM HIS PEOPLE."
Lev. 17:11- For the life of a creature is IN THE BLOOD and I hav given it to you TO MAKE ATONEMENT for yourselves on the altar; IT IS THE BLOOD THAT MAKES ATONEMENT FOR ONE'S LIFE."
@613degrees The Ark of the Covenant had on its top the "Propitiatory" or Atonement Cover, or the Holy Seat from where the Cherubim faced each other- there, the High Priest was to enter and place blood one a year-- (LEV. 16:34)... The very purpose of the COVER of the Ark was in order TO MAKE ATONEMENT WITH BLOOD! You claim to follow the Law- and yet you blaspheme the very Law you profess obedience to! If blood was an "option" or not "necessary" then there was no need for the Cover!
@613degrees For considering Blood "optional," the LORD surely was blood thirsty! Ex. 29 commands the CONTINUAL SACRIFICE of evening and morning!
Ex. 29: 42- "For the GENERATIONS TO COME this burnt offering is to be made REGULARLY at the entrence of the Tent of Meeting before the LORD."
Just like you consider THE SABBATH to be binding for "GENERATIONS TO COME" (EX. 31: 13, 16), the Sacrifices are ALSO binding for the Jews. You can't have it BOTH WAYS.
@613degrees ....only by forcing an ESOTERIC and MYSTICAL re-interpretation (Rabbinical Judaism) can you possibly even try to justify your lack of Biblical Atonement!
Not EATING the Blood is also a "LASTING ORDINANCE" (LEV. 3:17) because the LORD has given the LIFE which is in the BLOOD AS ATONEMENT! If you're a JEW (which I doubt) you do not eat blood simply for the fact that God has SET IT ASIDE for ATONEMENT.
@613degrees Again...it is your hard heart and PRIDE that leads you to deny the Holy Scriptures! Look at Leviticus 5: 5-6
"When anyone is guilty in any of these ways, he MUST CONFESS in what way he has sinned (prayer) and as a penalty for the sin he has committed he MUST BRING TO THE LORD A FEMALE LAMB OR GOAT from the flock as a SIN OFFERING; and the priest shall MAKE ATONEMENT for him for his sin."
Your current RELIGION is not God's...it is man-made. REPENT.
Its clear to me that you can quote scripture but cant read it,
You clearly have no idea that the Temple and Tabernacle are one in the same. The tabernacle was built because Bnei Yisra'el went where G-d told them to go Deut.12:4-14, The last place G-d's "presence " sat was at the temple mount I Kn11:36,II Kn2:7,II Chron6:6 ,Ps 51:20-21.
@613degrees WRONG! The one that cannot READ IT is you my nigga...
2 Samuel 7- "Go and tell my servand David, This is what the Lord says: Are you the one to build me a HOUSE to dwell in? I have not DWELT IN A HOUSE from the day I brought the Israelites up from Egypt... Wherever I have moved with all the Israelites, did I ever say to any of the rulers..."Why have you not built me a HOUSE OF CEDAR??
The one NOT reading is you- Rabbinical Judaism is FAIL.
You havent read what i posted i clearly said the Temple and the Tabernacle is one in the same if you read 2 Shamuel 7 you would see that G-d puts the constriction on Shelomo.
You have yet to refute the point that We cant sacrifice outside of temple grounds with out a Kohen Gadol, and the Fact that the prophets foretold this and told us what to do. (Re my privous posts) Show me one place in the Torah which would allow me to make a sacrifice right here right now.
Ah-- "BS" Very nice for a devout Jew, my nigga... Bolony-- God NEVER asked for a Temple.
As a matter of fact-- As I quoted earlier and you conveniently igorned:
Jeremiah 3: 16- 17 - "men will no longer say "the ark of the covenant of the Lord." It will NOT BE MISSED, nor will another one be made. At that time they will call JERUSALEM THE THRONE OF THE LORD and ALL NATIONS WILL GATHER IN JERUSALEM TO HONOR THE NAME OF THE LORD...."
@613degrees Special Request: Your use of "Hebraic/English" does not impress me. Lets stick to English if we're speaking in English, OK??
The point is that you don't want to accept that the MESSIAH was to die for our Sins- to make propitiation and intercession- and that through him ALL NATIONS would be saved. That's the bottom line--
I never pretended you werent a Xtian, show me where i said that.
I just said i didnt know. I only point out offspring since A) it says offspring with no clear connection to an allegory. B) JC never had children, C) I believe (as is clear from the context) that 53 is referring to the righteous of Yisra'el.
@613degrees Isaiah 53: 5 "He" was pierced for "our" transgressions, "he" was crushed for "our" iniquities; the punishment that brought "us" peace was upon "him," and by "his" wounds "we" are healed.
Isaiah 53: 10-- Yet it was the LORD'S will to crush him and cause him to suffer and though the LORD makes his life a GUILT OFFERING, he will see his offspring and prolong his days....
And of THIS FACT he gave proof through his Resurrection from the Grave!
And again No high priest and no alter how am i to sacrifice ? oh that's right i don't have to in exile with, no alter, temple, or functioning priestly cast(Hoshea3:4-5 = Hoshea 14:3, 1 Kings 8)
Please tell me what have i said that lends to a esoteric or mystical interpretation?
Repentance with out blood for sin is man made? Ive proven that to be wrong in my first post.
@613degrees --You are bent on denying the whole of Scripture. The Law makes it clear- THERE IS NO ATONEMENT WITHOUT BLOOD SACRIFICE!!! Go back to Leviticus.
@613degrees Again...you DENY that the "Mercy Seat" was a place to Propitiate with BLOOD. The very cover of the Tabernacle over the Tablets of the Law was a place for Blood- God's "throne" between the Cherub was a place of atonement...
Not being able to SACRIFICE was a sign of JUDGMENT- And if you say that the Jews are "still in exile" then you are simply saying that Jews of today are STILL being judged.
@613degrees And plus--- I never said "REPENTANCE WITHOUT BLOOD IS MAN MADE." Those are YOUR WORDS--- I've said from the beginning- Repentance- AND- Blood. Not either/or
@613degrees Why did you remove your comment???? You just said to me (Got it in my email) "For someone who does not believe in Tanach, etc." Why are you bent on INSULTING ME?? I believe in the WHOLE BIBLE- You believe in the BIBLE- we have DIFFERENT INTERPRETATIONS-- We should be able to have conversations without judging one another-- I have not judged you--why can't you be a Good Jew and celebrate the fact that I worship the God of Israel?
I removed it cause it was a repost.. as you can clearly see below...
if you believe in the whole Tanakh why dont you belive in Atonement with out sacrifice whilst in exile? its clear as day :" וְיִכָּנְעוּ עַמִּי אֲשֶׁר נִקְרָא-שְׁמִי עֲלֵיהֶם, וְיִתְפַּלְלוּ וִיבַקְשׁוּ פָנַי, וְיָשֻׁבוּ, מִדַּרְכֵיהֶם הָרָעִים--וַאֲנִי, אֶשְׁמַע מִן-הַשָּׁמַיִם, וְאֶסְלַח לְחַטָּאתָם, וְאֶרְפָּא אֶת-אַרְצָם. " ,
Bolony-- and now you're cutting and pasting Hebrew in order to try to intimidate me- when clearly you're finding yourself cornered== now even trying to play with words.
The LORD blessed King David's intent-- you are taking the Scriptures out of context-- but the Lord NEVER COMMANDED a temple to be built for Him.. THAT is the point that you are explicitly DENYING... Again- we're going around in circles.
I put the hebrew cause i thought you could read it biased on your knowledge heres the English: "if My people, upon whom My name is called, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their evil ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
Ok so explain to me so i can understand you better. G-d commanded the Mishkan but not the Temple , but had no issues with the sacrifices at the temple?
@613degrees --you say that the Jews are still in a sort of "captivity..." So are you saying that the Jews are still UNDER JUDGMENT?? and that for THAT reason they cannot OBEY the Blood Sacrifices that were COMMANDED by God?? And so therefore they must really ENTIRELY upon the sole grace of God?
Its funny for someone who doesn't believe in the Tanakh, why do you quote it?
I actually am a member of Bnei Yisra'el i will assume that you are as well since im not judgmental. If thats the case are you sacrificing on a daily biases?
I dont think you are since A) you dont have to B) if you did it would be invalid since its not in the prescribed place and done by a sanctified Kohen.
Only Talmudic judaism? I didnt know Karites sacrifices today as well
@613degrees Certainly Jeremiah 3: 16-17 is being fulfilled-
"In those days, when your numbers have increased greatly in the land, declares the LORD, men will no longer say, 'The Ark of the Covenant of the LORD.' It will NEVER ENTER THEIR MINDS or be remembered; it will not be missed, nor will another one be made. At that time they will call Jerusalem The Throne of he Lord (the Mercy Seat) and ALL NATIONS will gather in Jerusalem to honor the name of the LORD...."
@613degrees is greater than Blood Sacrifices done out of hypocrisy and/or a false notion that God can be manipulated with/through blood-- The point is that it was GOD who established the Sacrificial System because DEATH is the penalty of SIN. Are you also going to deny that? Instead of me giving you a whole list of proof texts- let me just list for you the following: Torah Torah Torah Torah Torah Torah Torah Torah... Read it- and believe it.

@613degrees
Deal with it.

G-d did ask for a temple? Read 2 Shamuel 7:13.
Yermiyahu was the prophet of the last era of the 1 temple, if it was so unimportant why did Ezra rebuild it ?

@613degrees Special Request: Your use of "Hebraic/English" does not impress me. Lets stick to English if we're speaking in English, OK??
The point is that you don't want to accept that the MESSIAH was to die for our Sins- to make propitiation and intercession- and that through him ALL NATIONS would be saved. That's the bottom line--

Oh youre a Xtian ? sorry i wasnt aware.
I use "Hebreic english" becuase thats what im used to, Why would i think it would impress you? Stick to the topic.
So if Is 53 is about JC what about V.10?
Dawidh said a normal life is 70 Years (Tehilim 90:10)
G-d said a full like is 120 years Berashith 6:3
When did he have Kids?

@613degrees Ah- now you pretend that I was not a Christian. You also try to get me with a trick question concerning PHYSICAL offspring...
Let me ask YOU a question: Are YOU not the OFFSPRING of God? Are you not a Son of God?
I guess since "offspring" can only refer to PHYSICAL OFFSPRING then you're not a Son of God- Right? Of course right!!

So i asked you to clarify.
Thats all...
613degrees 1 month ago
@613degrees Ok...you got me. There is no such thing as "sons of God" (ie, offspring) unless you're born of the flesh from a father...
Oops, sorry-- Genesis 6 proves otherwise....but I guess that when it comes to Christians that what the Torah has to say it doesn't matter.

(2/3) G-d never said to migrate from there.
613degrees 1 month ago
@613degrees --You are bent on denying the whole of Scripture. The Law makes it clear- THERE IS NO ATONEMENT WITHOUT BLOOD SACRIFICE!!! Go back to Leviticus.
tainorebelde1 1 month ago
@613degrees Again...you DENY that the "Mercy Seat" was a place to Propitiate with BLOOD. The very cover of the Tabernacle over the Tablets of the Law was a place for Blood- God's "throne" between the Cherub was a place of atonement...
Not being able to SACRIFICE was a sign of JUDGMENT- And if you say that the Jews are "still in exile" then you are simply saying that Jews of today are STILL being judged.
tainorebelde1 1 month ago

613degrees 1 month ago
@613degrees I believe in the BIBLE- the WHOLE BIBLE-- you believe what you want to conveniently believe and your Rabbinical Interpretations.
Admit that there is no Temple when there is JUDGMENT upon Israel- and we'll stop here.
