When Paul wrote Heb. 4, he really meant literal sabbath-keeping, and you can't interpret as spiritual/figurative what the bible writer wrote as literal or interpret as literal what the bible wrote as spiritual/figurative. Apostle Paul used the word "Sabbatismos" which LITERALLY MEANS literal sabbath-keeping. Also, read the entire chapter of Heb. 4 for complete context.

Ellen G. White did not predict Christ's return on 1833 and 1844, William Miller did, Ellen G White was then only 17 yrs old. Also, Miller got it right about the date, not the place, he thought that that the sanctuary mentioned in Daniel 8: 14 is the earth-it wasn't.

Adventists DO NOT believe in Imputed Righteousness i.e. Righteousness by faith. They believe in righteousness through Sabbath and Commandment keeping.

I honestly don't like debating. But just to clear things up, yes i do know my religion. First of all, it wasnt Ellen White who said Jesus was coming in 1844, it was William Miller. SDA's belief comes from the Bible and we're not with the Jahova Witnesses. They have their own beliefs. Like in our name its Seventh-day Adventist. People who celebrate/worship the Sabbath on the 7th day and Adventist: who believe in Christ 2nd coming.

SDA's assume that Adam and Eve observed the Sabbath during the first 7th day in the Garden of Eden and so, to SDA's, the first Sabbath began in Eden. But today, the Sabbath begins west of the International Date Line (IDL) in the Pacific Ocean & so SDA's are unknowingly breaking the Sabbath every week unless they can move the IDL from its current location to a new north-south location somewhere along the eastern border of the Garden of Eden. the council of nicea was build due to the rise of people who preach that christ is god. and they are the people who was prophesied that "Time will come a different Christ will be introduced to you"(Jesus as MAN.... the followers of christ who believed in christ's teachings that jesus is man (tim.2:5) agains the teachings of jesus as god.
then roman emperor constantineI, an emperor who empowered christianity in rome served as judge in that devate in nicea. he's not christ apostle or priest.

napanood ko na yung kabuuanng debate na to, ipinakita sakin ng taga SDA na nag iisip na lumipat sa INC, tameme nga SDA dito sa huli, yung nag post nito, post mo yung kabuuan para magkaalaman. Yung napanood ko kasi, taob ang SDA, mismong member ng SDA nagsabi, mali yung paniniwala nila at dahit sa debate na ito e nalaman nila ang totoo, aalis na ata sila sa SDA.

Can we say about your religion too? the CHURCH OF CHRIST denom Pastor is a FALSE PROPHET. His explanation about the Sabbath is very shallow. He cant explain well coz he knows he is wrong. He ignored the Sabbath truth which is one of God's greatest commandment. God says in Hebrew 4:3 " So I declared on oath in my anger, They shall never enter my rest." 6 it stil remains that some will enter that rest, and THOSE WHO FORMERLY HAD THE GOSPEL PREACH TO THEM DID NT GO IN COZ OF THEIR "DISOBEDIENCE"

When the gospel had preached it didn't go in to those who formerly heard coz of their disobedience, so God set a "certain day" this means another day of WARNING" NOT A DAY OF REST.calling it,Today when a long time later He spoke through David, as it was before: "Today if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts." God has been telling this to enter His "Sabbath rest" since the frst generation and to our generation.So if you hear His voice, dont harden yur hearts now.

Ang kaligtasan ay 'di nakabatay sa pangalan ng denomination or church. Si Cristo lamang ang tanging tagapagligtas. Ang tanong ko sa'yo, ang aral ba na itinuturo ng mga puno ng iglesia n'yo ay sang-ayon sa turo ni Cristo? Siyasatin mo kapatid bago pulaan ang iba, magbasa ka ng iyong Biblia at mag-aral ng taimtim at magsuri hindi lang basta maniwala sa sinasabi ng ministro n'yo at maghusga ng iba ng walang sapat na batayan. (1 Timothy :15-16; John 5:39). Anyone can and read it not just minister.
