Roger is a very soulfull musician and explains himself better then any musician I have ever heard before. And in a humble articulate, mature level. WOW!
Roger "So True" I have loved your music since the first time I heard it many years ago. It is a life long journey to enjoy your music just as much today as it was back in the early 70's. Love your work with your Orchestra . None Better!
Really enjoy your Music every night. You are so special to so many. I am glad I watched this interview. You have a wonderful family and a wonderful life. Roger, if I may say so you are the baby bomer's hero and yes you are singing much better because of the changes that We All Have Been Through. Thank you sir. You deserve a charmed life. You sure Charm all of ours. Please do not stop. Hey by the way, bring Andrew with you to Orlando. We would love to hear him as well. Sheree
My husband and I saw Supertramp back in 1978 and loved them and then we saw Roger when he was touring with Paul McCartney years ago and then we were fortuanate to be able to see Roger perform again when he did a concert in February this year in Southern California. We love him and hope to see him again next time he is in California. :0) Love you Roger <3
Wow!! Roger is an amazing artist and man. Even when I first saw Supertramp in the '70's; Roger seemed the quiet humble member of the band. He is an amazing guitarist as well as everything else he does mainly because he loves it!
@MickeyLove01 Davies lost his direction? Roger Hodgeson is the one who went prancing off through a pastel world of pretty flowers, sugar lolli pops and tweety birds.
to me he is one of the greatest songwriters in modern music, on one level with people like john lennon, david bowie, roger waters or tony banks to me! (that also goes for rick davies, but hodgson somehow touches me deeper and more emotional)
Wise words!! It's always a delight to listen to Roger. He is a succesful man because he always talks from his heart and share with us his feelings.
He enjoyed himself playing and we enjoyed too in each show. Really, he never disappeared of our lives, he was with us ever, and now it's a big pleasure to attend his concerts. Thanks, Roger for being you!!!
Fantastic interview! Thanks for being the generous, loving man that you are, Roger. I can't wait to see him again. Roger's shows are so memorable, so engaging, and so fully entertaining, more so than almost any artist I've ever seen.
Wonderful!!! I love this interview - Roger is one of the most warmhearted human beings I ever met. He is giving so much love with his songs and he lives his songs onstage. Believe me, every concert with Roger becomes an absolutely unforgettable event.
Great interview. I wish more people would listen to Roger's words. "...in a way of service" - "giving rather than taking" - the beautiful thing about it all is, here is a man who does not only talk about it, he does it every night on stage: He gives his heart and thus touches the hearts of his audiences. He comes out on stage and the connection is immediately there - everyone is uplifted. You have to experience it, feel it yourself - human language lacks the words to describe it...
@comfrey11 And he loves every minute of it. As soon as he begins to play those feel good songs and the audience cheers by simple recognition, he will always smile because he knows exactly how much joy he is bringing his audience. One of the best performers in the world hand down.
For anyone who hasn't been to a Roger Hodgson concert…Roger gives a performance that brings me right into the songs and music and there is a magical journey he takes you on that is so amazing to experience. His voice is strong and clear and to me he sounds even better now than when he was with Supertramp.
He has a free download of Dreamer from his new Classics Live coming out on his website, and it's a great track. One of my favorites!
Wonderful interview from Roger. I so very much love to listen to his beautiful music. Each and every one of his songs holds a dear place in my heart. What an artist.

@upstart1234ify Genius? Listen to the 40 seconds Rick Davies speaks. The man is extremely grounded.

Nice interview, but one question I have missed: 'How is your present relationship with Supertramp? We hear a lot of strange stories about that.'
