you're wrong...ryu has no disadvantages...there is not one character in the game that beats him more than 5 times out of 10 matchups...(on average according to tier lists)

ya u couldnt have picked a worse match up as an example. ryu owns blanka easily. balrog is a bit harder but still easy to beat with a ryu.
