@purpledinosaurus the game have 3 dificult modes.easy - where its almost impossibe to bail and where you jump a lot higher. Medium - the skate 1 & 2 default dificult. AND THE REALISTIC ONE - HARD where for example you cant do a 360 flip if you dont have enough speed...

@marcolinocabal lay off the shift/capslock. I know that when i personally play the skate games, i dont count it as a land unless i can get it to look as realistic as possible. It helps keep the fun of progression in the game while you go around skating. Specially after you can do all the flips/grinds most goes.

The textures look just bad, the walking handles like a retard, the objects are glitchy and look plastic, miniramp skating is impossible, etc.. there are many glitches that skate1 doesn't have. The animation on skate2 is smoother, and there are new tricks, but that's it. The overall control and FEEL is just better in skate1, that's why I really rather play it... Skate3 is like what 2 should have been like!

For the people talkin about Ollie height, don't forget that the game has a Hardcore mode where the height is lowered and it takes more pushes for maximum speed and there is lest "ghosting" onto the rails and ledges. Hardcore mode is for those who want a realistic style of play.
