So, is Curse of Darkness a small & linear game? Or is it long, non-linear like Symphony of the NIght with a lot of exploration & secrets to be solved?

I can’t say I liked GOW, so if this the same deal, I think I’ll pass…

@alxxz Lots of weapons and demons to discover (you can even have a guitar or a machine gun as a weapon xD) story line is very short but you can replay the game with trevor belmont, well theres many secrets too, like two aditional bosses, there are a lot of exploration but the graphics sucks

and finally, the soundtrack is god or perhaps more than that and that enough to consider it a castlevania game.

i think this is probably the closest thing to a 3D SOTN game we're gonna get and i'm satisifed with it.

I loved the cutscenes, weapons (the lightsaber is the shit) and familars in this game. Good story too and loved that Trevor was an important and playable character.

The scenery in the games was repetitive and there could have been more items to equip besides protection rings.

I have high hopes for Lords or Shadow. Hoping Gabriel is the father of Simon or Trevor.....

@shoudday I think the real win is his weapon/armor forging abilities. 7 bladed sword, The Scythe, freaking fencing swords, the feather sword, force gloves, light saber, muramasa, even a gatling gun, and thats just the beginning.

I have played both and I preferred Curse of Darkness since Curse was longer than Lament, granted Lament did tell the beginning of the legendary whip known as Vampirekiller and showed who became Dracula and why which sorta balanced out the game being too short.
