The Venizelos is a Greek ship with a Greek crew (except the hotel crew) leased to Tunisia ferries,

The hull was constructed in Poland , after the shipyard went bankrupt it was towed (no engines) to Eleysina to be finished.

I guess it was leased from Greece for the Tunisie-Italy journey.

it can be a mistake but El Venizelos is a Greek ship... I do not mean you are not in Tunisia but just that this ship is Greek.
