Same thing happened to us at Washington Mutual. I got so fed up with their malicious tactics of generating overdraft fees, I simply maxed out the so called "overdraft protection", opened a new account and told wamu to F*** off. As soon as collections called, I told them I had absolutely no intention of EVER paying and to stop calling. I told them I would rather be gased then pay them. and meant it. Never heard from them again.
