Expensive if you can find them. You're better off getting a Schecter Hellcat VI along with a good Chorus and Delay pedal. The Hellcat VI will get you those same Cure-esque tones at a fraction of the cost of an actual Fender Bass VI.

So you want to get a Bass Vi just because it looks like a Jaguar? Just buy a Fender Jaguar. But hey, if you want to throw down $4000 to $6000 on a vintage Fender Bass VI or $3000 for one of the discontinued reissues simply because it looks like a Jag, go right ahead. The Schecter Hellcat VI has a 5 position pickup switch, plus a coil tap so you have lots of tone options to work with and sells for about $600. Not a collectible like the Fender Bass VI, but an instrument one can really use.

I cant afford a fender but I found out that schecter makes a guitar called the hellcat VI that is the same style as the bass VI and now im buying one you inspired me. awesome work.
