  • This is very helpful. I am 52 years old and relapsed with an eating disorder so I do everything to stay out of my body. I starve myself and my body is not a pleasant place to be. But your meditation helped get in touch with my body if only for a few minutes. Thanks.

    I never even noticed the comments that you said were "mean"!!! People have preferences and I never said I was for everybody!

    I am always grateful though when someone takes the time to post any comment, it means that something was stirred inside of them. I never want to force my beliefs onto anyone, but it is hard for me to do anything without mentioning God because God has pulled me from a horrible existence and brought me to this most beautiful life!

    One quibble; did you specifically choose to focus on rib breathing over belly breathing? All of my experiences with theatre, vocal training, dance, yoga and psychology technique have encouraged deep belly breathing over shallow rib cage breathing.

  • would you do some more guided meditation videos please... i find your voice very soothing.. maybe you could do one for healing old trauma...or fear...anxiety... physical pain...reenergising.. or going through different parts...or joining left and right sides of body...just a few suggestions... this is really very great and valuable... please do more similar x

  • Thank you for making these videos, it is a lifesaver for me as as a stressed out college student. I have a hard time getting my mind to quiet down at night and videos like yours help immensely. You have a very soothing voice and I love your video, but may I suggest a better microphone, there is a high-pitched noise in the background. Maybe I have sensitive ears but it cancels out your soothing voice for me.

  • seriously though, you have a very soothing voice, and this video really helps me to relax on a daily basis, which got me thinking... why not make a whole set of guided meditation sessions and sell them for a profit? I would certainly buy it if you made one.

  • @DanteRevere Who said girls are poor, fragile creatures? And who said this is specifically for girls? She said she recommends meditation to girls, but doesn't say that no one else can use this. This is an exercise for anyone to encourage peace and security, which in turn encourages inner strength and confidence. You don't have to like her methods, but don't fabricate into her words that she's calling girls poor and fragile. :P Silly.

  • Love this. Watch it on my iPhone when I wake up and when I go to sleep every day and it has deffinately impacted me in a very possitive way. I think less about the past and future and focus more on the present. It's amazing what just relaxing can do for you.

  • I have ADHD and I'm into Anime / Graphic arts. (Trust me, I've probably seen more anime than anyone that has commented on here). Besides that, I'm going to school for film AND I've always had a very tough time relaxing as well. The best trick is not only to meditate but try lying down on your back with your knees bent up and meditating. It helps you relax a lot more than sitting and having your knees up helps keep you from falling asleep. I hope this helps!

  • I'm a guy hope thats not a problem xD. I take adhd meds which tense my muscles (still totally worth it). Sadly this seems to mean that I can no longer naturally heal stress related muscle pains. It just builds and builds. This movie can keep me down and stops my mind from wandering. Well okay it doesnt' stop it but usually after about 5 mins into it my mind clears and I suddenly hear what your saying very clearly and my body is suddenly really relaxed. Anywho thanks!

  • Dear JackWhistle - oh sweetie pie... of course it's alright that you're a guy. I have two sons of my own - one of which has adhd and also is into anime and graphic arts... like your page... anyways - just keep practicing meditation and try changing the way you talk to yourself - try to stop saying "I can no longer naturally heal stress related muscle pains. It just builds and builds." and try saying "it's easy for me to relax, I can allow my muscles to let go fully" and then just keep breathing

  • Remember Jack - what you think about becomes your reality. I realize that add medecine is a stimulant to help you focus, but with lots of effort and really learning how to control your mind - trust me, anything is possible. The more you keep practicing, those few minutes that your mind felt clear will become easier to achieve and you'll be able to reach that state faster. Also - you may want to try hypnosis - which I am currently becoming certified to do!! email me if you want to try it :)

  • @KathleenHassanDotCom....forre­al though i haven't taken my Ridalin since freshman year in high school and i ended my senior year with a 4.1 GPA...clearly there are other alternatives and i've proven meditation as one of them
