  • Canadian geese are so used to humans, I once fed one bread out of my hand!!

  • @Marmalade000000 They are majestic creatures that are used to humans. They like to block the bike path when i'm riding. At that point I wish they had more fear of humans.

  • I simply cannot understand why someone would hunt or kill these grand majestic creatures. They're intelligent. They're loyal. Social. And absolutely beautiful. Sure, they poop, but dogs do that too, and we also! I'm in deep love with geese.

  • @shairaptor I could never hunt them. The only thing I could shoot them with is a camera. I hope you use that passion for animals to support environmental groups like the Nature Conservatory. We need to preserve land for our wild creatures.

  • I love visiting Canadian Geese when they come back for the spring. They have eaten out of my hand and one even rubbed its head and neck on me. I have often gotten smacked by there wings but I don't mind lol )

  • @torzanvic I've never had any be that nice to me. I think they are majestic creatures, but I avoid interacting with them.

  • A male Canada goose once charged my car and left a mark!! That birdy bastard

  • @Marmalade000000 I hope you flipped him the bird.

  • I love living in the Canadian prairies, awesome goose hunting!

  • @shairaptor I got your message even though you removed it. Just wanted you to know that I agree. People are the biggest invasive species. I'm sure the Geese find it very inconvenient to have us around too.

  • @AgileHProductions Yes, so true. I recently visited geese with a friend, for the first time (in a wildlife park). With our love and passion for geese, the gander immediately(!) accepted us as friend. Even the goose father (the keeper of the two geese) was spellbound at how friendly and nice the goose was. No hissing or attacking at all. I could hug and cuddle with him for hours, just like with a dog or cat. What a personality and charisma, I just adore geese even more now.

  • KILL IT AND MAKE JACKETS!!!! NORWAY NEEDS TO BE WARM GOD DAMMIT(-17)

  • @loveja1234 you should be killed

  • See so many of these around my university. Mind you, there is a lake on campus, along with a canal nearby...need I say more?!

  • i like their honking. it's home.

  • You know what's awesome?

I live in the UK, and there's a flock of these geese down in our local town. They're gonna fly all the way to Canada soon :O

  • @Trentest0 That is awesome!

  • I always feed these geese right out of the palm of my hand they love me ahaha

  • Excellent HD video.

< ----- Click to see my BARKING goose that loves music.

  • I got bitten by a Canadian goose before, lol I was feeding it bread and it just ran up and ate it out of my hand, biting me by mistake. The bite didn't hurt though, its teeth were really soft, but I was surprised to see it had black teeth.

  • @ayngel3 I had the same thing happen with a bengal tiger.

  • @AgileHProductions wow really

  • I love these geese. I think they are so beautiful. When I hear them, I try very hard to find where they are so I can admire them. Thank you God for creating such a beautiful creature.

  • you forgot to mention that they are delicious.

  • If people would mind they own business and stop antagonizing the geese, then there would be no rationality to bitch about the geese. People are just hateful and get their ego-boost by bothering animals that haven't done a damn thing to humans.

I like the Canadian geese. They hiss at me but I think that's funny when they do that. But I don't ever do anything cruel to them.

  • If people would mind they own business and stop antagonizing the geese, then there would be no rationality to bitch about the geese. People are just hateful and get their ego-boost by bothering animals that haven't done a damn thing to humans.

  • let the earth deal with it...nature will take care of everything..ecosystems regulate themselves and dont need our intervention...they eat food other birds would eat yeah of course just like tons of species competing for ressources...its not our duty to control...our job is to protect....

  • alot of Canadian geese's eggs are destroyed every Spring here to keep the population down

  • considered as pests cause theyre loud and agressive...pffffff...animals are not pests..we are pests taking everything...if you have a problem with goose or any other creature,if you cant accept that there are other lifeforms then why dont you move on the moon????

  • @reversalstudio I agree. These are majestic creatures and we are lucky to get to share space with them.

  • @reversalstudio Pfft because they keep shitting on our yard and hording all the food from all the other birds. Also i chased some off my yard for a while so i know what these things are.

  • @reversalstudio why dont you stfu and take the geese or any ofther creature with your dumbass to the moon. and f.y.i i <3 ducks and geese, i have some that live near my house i feed them everyday =]

  • @reversalstudio i bet you live in a city or town, work in society, and are a part of your so called "problem". Dont be such a hypocrite. Geese ARE a pest, and through conservation by groups souch as Delta Waterfowl and Ducks Unlimited, their numbers have grown to all time highs. Geese are largely responsible for crop destruction. They also spread diseases through populated places. Get a life, learn your facts. If you dont like being human, then dont.

  • I videotaped one this morning next to my home. She was a little nervous because her visa had expired :) /watch?v=0ETVRnKG7cg

  • @AweSomeCentral11 Did you post it as a video response to this video?

  • @AgileHProductions No, it wasn't a video response, but the /watch link will get you there.

  • I woke up this morning to the sound of their honking, there was like 3 of them on my neighbours roof, im in Canada

  • @iLuvBarRefaeli What a great way to start the day!

  • It's ironic how Canada Goose spend most of their time in the U.S. and American White Pelican Spend most of their time in Canada...

  • @Pelicomics I've heard that geese hate irony and the contradiction leads to a high rate of depression within the species.

  • @tennisgurl206 I heard them say the same thing about you.

  • Canada geese are very friendly. People just need to respect them and be patient, yet unfortunately not many people excercise those simple morals. I recently got to pet one for the first time. He/she didn't mind at all that I was petting its back as it ate seeds from my hand :) Why would you hunt a canada goose to make a jacket? That's like hunting down a chipmunk and calling yourself a man.

**I love to watch geese fly, I can't stop looking up haha <3

  • @nddlj Thanks for watching!

  • Pest indeed! They run a-muck through all of Michigan and we can't really do anything about it. I'd be fine with them if they'd stop running up and trying bite a chunk off of me.

  • @HawockHain Yeah that sucks. You should get a dog and get him/her to chase them away. I love Canada Geese but I'd actually like to sick my havanese on them (for the sake of my dog's wolf instincts lol) but I'm afraid that the geese would gang up on my small white dog and lift him in the air hahah!

  • @nddlj It's actually illegal to harm the geese or force them off your land, they're protected by law here. As for the dog, well, I'd get a fine if I let her chase them.

  • @HawockHain Yeah...but I saw a video on YouTube and this guy lets his dog chase the geese around the public park/fountain because apparently they're leaving too much poop that it's actually disgusting to walk around there..... I don't remember if they talked about the legal issues involved in this...?

  • @nddlj Yup, I can't remember exactly what the legal repercussions are, but I know it can't be good. You can defend yourself from them or intimidate them, but you can't chaset them, harm their nests, poison them, etc. They poop everywhere and it can be a health hazard, especially in parks. I won't take my nephew to a few of the parks near-by because the situation gets that bad.

  • @HawockHain *chase. Excuse me.

  • Canada Geese are pretty nice to people (or at least to me). There are several that come around Feb- July to the creek next to where I work. I give them bread (with added carrot juice and calcium carbonate). They hiss at first but quickly become friendly, so I can pet some of them. Others take food out of my hand but don't like being petted. None has ever tried to bite me. I think their bite is too weak to be a weapon.

  • Canada geese can often be found at the Public Gardens in Boston, next to Boston Common. The park rangers discourage feeding them precisely because of their droppings, which they say cause bacteria in the water in the Swan Boat Pond.

  • Personally, I don't think this species is a very flattering symbol for my country!

Yes, snow geese are becoming a problem on farmer's fields in northern Canada, although I have seen them as far south as Minnesota.

  • @ClimateSightful "Personally, I don't think this species is a very flattering symbol for my country!"

You're crazy, the sound of them returning after a long cold winter is like music to Canadian ears and brings a certain sadness once the leave in late fall.

  • Thanks -- had the privelege of shooting Vid. yesterday of Geese resting up for trip onwards to Canada --

  • @CharleySunshine The first of them have just arrived here in Toronto :)

  • They weren't so agressive when I got close to them.

  • @slicingwater If you keep pushing your luck one will eventually try and nip you.

  • @AgileHProductions Theyll kick ya and flap ya but havent been bit.

  • I wore a chiliwack parka at the store and im buying one but what are the differences? there are a chilliwack bomber, chilliwack parka and a yorkville bomber. which one is warmer (more duck down padding)?

  • Hello... I have two Questions ? 1) How many Goose do u kill to make a Canada Goose Jacket ... 2) Which part of the Coyotes Do u use to make the Canada Goose Jaket ... Thank You for trying to get me the anwers ... Please help with my 2 ?¨s ... By the Way My husdand Loves is Orange Canada Goose Jacket .. And I Lov My TNA.. Thanxx.

  • @kcata3 I prefer the red-tailed fox over the coyote for my jackets.

  • @kcata3 the jackets are not filled with goose down, they use white duck,

  • i see them on campus all the time, i was surprised that they are not afraid of ppl.

  • They were threatened with extinction at one time, unbelievably.

  • @ClimateSightful That is amazing. I can't ride my bike now without having to swerve around some of them on the bike path. They are everywhere.

  • @AgileHProductions i did my research and found out the other less known snow geese is becoming a pest too. i also think you should do a video on snow geese

  • @UrbanerSquash1 Do those come to Ohio?

  • @AgileHProductions i dont know i think there tend to be more snow geese in the pacific fly way. i live in california so i see tons of snow geese.

  • Comment removed

  • @AgileHProductions I read there are 50 billion migrant birds in the world, lol, wow that's more than 7 times more than people, amazing! :)

  • i have a canda goose at my job that is all by himself were pretty sure hes a male cause hes pretty big. He lets you pet him he at least let ME pet him. He wont leave my job though (i work at a beach) and we dont want him to get hit but i dont think anyone will take him cause they are such a "pest" but hes really not mean at all. hes not mean to me some people he will bite. he follows me around work too. I feel bad for him idk what to do i dont wanna move him cause he seems at home here.

  • I LOVELOVELOVELOVE CANADIAN GEESE!!!! <33333333

  • i've seen this goose. They quietly sat on the grass just near a very busy street. they were very gentle. when i walked toward them they slowly walked away without making any noise. I love them.

  • @yoshinosakura They can be aggressive if you get to close, so love them from a distance.

  • Why are they a socalled pest? they were here waaay before humans. shame on us!

  • @VeLoDa They are big birds. They form large groups and poop all over sidewalks and driveways. They are not easily scared away either.

  • @SmedleyDouwright i know, we have them i Norway too. but i think, generally, people have taken over too much. thats just my opinion tho.

  • honk!

  • Wonderful! I've taken care of these birds at one of the wildlife hospitals where I volunteer. People should NEVER feed them -- makes more droppings and makes them aggressive towards people. Also, food they hunt for and eat is much healthier for them. Human food, such as breadcrumbs, is not good for them.

  • i disagree with wen u said that they diffented there nest i was walking by a pond the other day and flush several canada geese from their nests that did hav eggs

  • most of the time by the beach you'll find one lurking by shoutin "Gimme mah food!" *hssss*

  • Is it ok to hold ducks that you see in a random pond?

  • These birds are soo delicous cooked on open fire. Suspended on a string to spin while being cooked. Yum..(slurp). Oh yeah.. in a teepee. :)

  • They're scary. They cornered my friends &me &we weren't doing anything to them (but, we were probably in their territory). Then, we went away, then, they came for us &tried to corner us again. WTF. But, other than that, they're beautiful creatures to watch, from afar, or course.

  • I love them!!!

  • I hate these things!!!!! they're nothing but poop factories, and they are all over northern New Jersey. I have no problem with the idea of culling.

  • Hi AgileHProductions, great video. Perhaps because the Canadian goose is such a common sight in Canada they are sometimes not given the attention they deserve, but they are certainly one of our more iconic animals. You should consider submitting this to the Canada’s Got Treasures collection by joining our YouTube group (/group/TresorTreasure). It would be made available on our channel and website. Help celebrate Canadian diversity!

  • near my house theres a church and i seen a canadian geese family and there was 4 kids a mom and a dad and the dad started hissing at meh since i was justg riding mah bike then it kept on hissing so it started chasing meh after the mama started hissing too! and they start swimming around a lake at the church

  • I think I'm going to film some geese tomorrow. My documentary will soon usurp yours! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!

  • @johnnytastetest This is the best comment I've had in a while. You've obviously figured out my secret formula and now I will be considered a failure in the Canada Goose community. (I'm not sure if that means I'm a failure amongst geese or humans who like geese - maybe both).

  • I love chasing these animals while screaming.

  • @GenesisTree - Ha ha! Yeah, that's great fun! Amazing comment, GenesisTree.

  • @GenesisTree i wouldn't chase them if i were you. if you try to chase one at some random time it might fly after you instead of away

  • ur voice is soo calming but not boring.. im enjoying ur videos

  • I think they are great!

  • I'm crazy to go birding in usa

  • come to michigan.

    very active birds here.

or go to florida. way more exotic birds.

  • I wish they came by California. The birds I really get annoyed by are seagulls. They swarm you if you have food. Geese are more well mannered and won't expect food from people.

  • @JetHawk These geese make seagulls look and act like sparrows!!!

  • Great video -- very informative. I know a lot of people don't like these birds, but I do. In fact, they're my favorite birds. I love to watch them glide into a field or go over my house in a big flock -- it's so beautiful.

  • I have often been attacked by these creatures. I had hated these grimy and weird ducks before, but now I see they are a splendid animal.

  • not ducks, they are geese. season ends the 22nd here in nebraska so im gona keep on killin my limit off our pond :') lol

  • 0:53 So true...

  • Nice work.

  • Their necks are really cool, like a feathered hose.

  • Even though they're considered annoying, but to me they're so cool... I like to immitate their honk sound to them.

The baby ones are SO cute, and it's interesting that they're Green when they're young.

  • Thank you for a terrific video on such a wonderful animal. Canada geese are truely magnificent creatures. They are also very graceful in flight.

  • @cam14071 Yep. Can’ beat em with roast potatoes...

  • @cam14071 you forgot to mention that they are also delicious!

  • Very nice video on a lovely animal. Canada Geese are the most devoted of parents, which I'm sure accounts for some of the proliferation; in my area they get far more chicks through to adulthood than do other water fowl.

  • Silly Geese....Tricks are for kids!

  • i had pet canadian goose but some fucking racoons got her

  • Today at a zoo, I fed some geese and goslings corn out of my hand. They don't bite that hard, but it felt good when they were nibbling on and at my hand.

  • if it is possible, do you think you could make a video on the muscovy duck please?

  • I would love to, but first I have to find one. If you subscribe to my videos you will be notified when I upload new ones. Maybe I can find one soon and get it uploaded.

  • could you do a video review on pintail ducks??

  • I will do one if I can capture it on video.

  • I was in San Jose Del Cabo. That's How I found you. When I returned from my trip to Cabo I was looking at videos about the area. I came across your videos and I loved it. I will download the picture of the bird and try to send it to you some time. I will certainly keep watching for more of you work. Good job man - Chris

  • Im loving your series on birds. I wish I could send you a picture of a bird I saw in Mexico. He was gold. Not sure what kind he is.

  • Thanks for the feedback. I love wildlife, so I'm hoping to do more of these in the future. There is such a wealth of cool animals to explore. Mexico has some really cool animals. Where did you see him? My best find in Mexico was probably a kit fox in the desert.

  • kit foxes are cool. plenty of them here in nevada. killed 9 of them this past season.
