@stantineham lol yeah, but I think this is different... The Crystal thing in SGA was kind of like this but it was spliting him into TWO different people and was going into other peoples dreams (SOMEHOW lol) and making them think sheppard was bad etc etc. (I think havn't watched it in a long time). I think this one leaches of how scared he his and the more he struggles the more it clings on.... I dont know just have to watch it I guess =D (fail comment for me :P I just woke up so yeah)

this new Stargate is doing my head in ! we are in the second season and still nothing i can see this being yet another unsatisfying program !

As an aspiring cinematographer, I've always thought that dream sequences should be shot in a classic, smooth camera-style, though I'm a huge fan of the "Shield-style" that SGU emulates. I've often fantasized about using both styles in a movie that has a dream sequence on top of a gritty, realistic world and I'm glad to see it done well. Inception really could have used SGU's DOP. This looks like a great episode, though!
