  • Kol Hakavod. Thank you so much for becoming Jewish.

    I personally greatly appreciate it.

    Your videos are great.

    G-d bless you.

  • @superdave9002 - Thank you.

  • Todah robah!

  • very very sad story, sorry you didn't know HaKadosh Baruch Hu

  • @javierelbueno - I know Him now that I have left pagan Christianity.

  • Nice

  • It shows you are a good student. Christianity is a perspective not a reality.

  • G-d bless you. I've seen many of your other videos, but had no idea you are a convert. That is truly special!

  • cool. did you convert "Orthodox"? just curious.

  • @KingOystar

No, I converted Conservative but in my practices I lean toward Orthodoxy. I want to convert under the Orthodox auspices but it is impossible for me right now because I cannot move.

  • @pckills That is sorta where I am in a way. I practice more Modern Orthodox judaism but I also like the teachings of Nachman of Breslov.

  • @KingOystar

I am all over the place as to what I like and what I don't really pay much attention to. Right now I feel like I lean more toward Sephardi rather than Ashkenazi. Unfortunately, where I live there are no Sephardi Jews!

  • Loved the video! Fabio Buenos Aires

  • I got almost the same journey, but i wasnt christian, i was atheist from childhood, and i hated religion, simply because i had a good right to do so, but if you study you understand see other point of view your learn a lot, or enough. Seems like HaShem guided me, i would never convert to judaism, but i know that its the truth. because i have already problems to keep the 7 laws...

  • No, your not regular jew, converts are special to HaShem, because the converts choose the truth, while bornjews just got it from their parents, so what is more impressive someone who is working for a million $ or a personn who get it as a gift ?Btw Judaism is based on Conversion, The Hebrews did convert to Judaism and became Jew, or better Yahudim, which have 2 meanings, be thankfull and knowing, simply means, your thank HaShem that you know him, and not just believe.

  • What's really interesting is though you became a Jew, you were probably already genetically and legally a Child of Israel. No BS! Read up on how Israel split into two houses: Ephraim and then Judah (from which Jewish people descend).

Ephraim - the house who received the true birthright of the name "Yisrael" - was never released from Assyrian captivity before losing heritage and migrating north & west.

Also please research Yahshua, the true messiYah who's not the Father but was his son.

  • god bless u

  • החשיבה שלה פתטי מאוד רק בגלל ישו נולד vergin ו לעזאזל הוא נצחי? וזה המשיך u מן האיסלאם והנצרות? Lol

  • Thank you for sharing your story. Good luck to you.

  • Thank you for sharing your story. Good luck to you.

  • Her reasoning are very pathetic Just because Jesus was born of a vergin and hell is eternal? And that kept u away from Islam and Christianity ? Lol

  • @labascheznous

It was a lot more than that which kept me away from Islam and Christianity. Christianity is nothing but pure paganism so I completely reject it. Islam has some good teachings but there are many things I do not agree with regarding the theology.

  • @pckills I have to agree with you that contemporary "Christianity" is truly a pagan practice. I see people ranting and raving in physical fits chasing a "holy spirit" around the room like some invisible cat and mouse game. Who, what and how many is to be worshiped? The Father, Son, Holy Spirit and many more. In my opinion, Judaism requires people to exert themselves intellectually, whereas Evangelical Christianity simply requires faith.

  • @labascheznous christanty came from judoism judo christian

  • @labascheznous

your telling me you don't have a problem with Hell being eternal ?

and people are being tortured by there own father for ever ?

think would your own father do that ?

  • I hope your conversion was an Orthodox connversion if not you are not really Jewish.

If yes welcome & much hatzlacha!

Also if you had an authentic conversion you are just as Jewish as the biggest Rosh Yeshiva or Admor.

  • Lovely to hear your story. Hatzlacha with your continued growth into Judaism!!

  • one of the churches you showed are actually very open to questions, im sorry you had such a bad experience during your childhood

  • Call yourself what you want, but you will always be a Gentile. You are one of us, and you will always be one of us.

  • This only shows your ignorance of the Jewish faith and its halachah. Once someone converts, he/she is as much a Jew as anyone born a Jew. Of course, this does not stop ignorant Jews from being bigoted toward converts but that is their problem and their issue.

  • I guess if you convert to Judaism your a Jew faith wise; but ethnically, you are still a Gentile.

  • So what if I am not a Semite by birth. That means nothing. Not all Jews are Semites.

  • @pckills That is why I said faithwise, you are Jew; but ethnically, you are a gentile.

  • So? According to halachah, I am just as Jewish as any born Semitic Jew. I just don't think about it. Sure, I know I am "European" but I am proud of my born heritage as well as my Jewish adopted heritage.

  • @pckills

" I know I am "European" but I am proud of my born heritage as well as my Jewish adopted heritag"

    - on mt sinai god call all of them " ISRAEL" even there was there many egyptians that follow and trust mosses. so we see from here that the name " israel" is not only to the family of jackob but to anyone who accept the torah that god gave to israel !

  • Obviously you did not listen to the video or you ignored what was said. This is NOT about virgin birth.

Did Hagar also give birth as a virgin (Genesis 16:10)? What about Rebecca (Genesis 24:60)? What about the daughter of a kohen (Leviticus 22:13)? What about Elkanah's wife (I Samuel 2:20)?

  • islam does not have jesus as the messiah they have muhammed

  • No, Jesus is considered a messiah (not the same as the "end times" messiah of Christianity or even Judaism). Mohammed was the last prophet.

  • i need help becoming jewish

  • Send me a private message. You can also go to becomingjewish[dot]org or look for a local rabbi.

  • @NinjaGlade88 Don t rsh things to soon. Have you studyt other religions then jewdaism?

  • Interesting journey and informative.

  • Thank you.

  • Let Me tell U some aboout it. Firthly I jewish. The second think it's all about money, position and H-m knows. That person get in the mikva after the beit of Israel, I think it's cosher. another thing it;s,the conversions now r not the same like 1500 r 2500 years ago.

I'm not saying U r but... yor question it's lil rasist and can make the person feel really like a Ger. We've 2 remember that we're GERIM and we're still out of Israel.

Nothing personal but we should not divise the nation.

  • A Jew's Jew. Why asking that question? So stupid.

  • Wow - thank you for sharing your story. Your words are clearly spoken straight from the heart. The video is very well done and deeply inspiring. It is extremely powerful that you did not post an image of yourself . May Hashem protect and guide you. With admiration from Jerusalem, wishing you continued success in all you do.

  • Thank you very much.

  • thanks for a very interesting perspective on why you converted to Judaism. My reasons for wanting to converting are almost the same as yours, I have contacted the local rabbi, and he has agreed to interview me. He even remembered me from the services that I attended.

  • That is great new! I wish you the best in your journey toward Torah and Hashem!

  • mazal tov!!! :) may you have lots of nachas, and a meaningful Tishrei!!!!: ) i never can understand why anyone would take this on for themselves though... :) hatzlacha!!

  • Thanks! You too!

  • wow this is actually very touching and i' can relate to you so much, i'm 20 years old and i'm on the similar path you were i actually consider my self right now to be an agnostic, i used to be chrisitan.

    your story is inspiring.

  • If I can be of any assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me. It takes a brave person to search for the truth.

  • Hi on your assertion that Buddhists do not believe in God. Well it more so has to do with the denominations of Buddhism, so Buddhists do believe in God and others don't. Some even think that Buddha was an Avatar of God.

  • You are correct. There are some Buddhist who do believe in G-d but the ones that I learned from were really agnostic or totally disbelieved in G-d (at least as I understood Him).

  • Hmm I suppose, though I am not a Buddhist I am a Collyridian. The Buddhists I learned from were all believers in God, Monotheists to boot.

  • lmao why judaism. Just kidding. You chose your own religion. No one can force you to change it.

  • there are difficult bits of Xity to let go not least the fear of reneging on one's cultural foundation. On the plus side is the fact that it all makes so much snese and one doesn't have to let go of one's intellectual honesty in believing . I would only be interested in Observant Judaism as it is the real Belief. You are very fortunate and thank you.

  • Thx for sharing. I identify with your journey. I also looked into the different religions and found that Judaism was my fit. It just makes sense for me. I like to be able to question and discuss and not feel as though I am under some threat of damnation for disagreeing.

  • Christianity uses fear (damnation) to keep people from exploring other belief systems.

I understand what you mean by the threat of damnation. This is something that is difficult to get over if you have been brainwashed by Christianity into the belief that one will be damned if you don't believe exactly as your sect of Christianity.

  • Yes, I was so scared at first at the prospect of letting the idea of Jesus go. Then I couldn't imagine how one could not use the New Testament. But once I read and studied and took a fresh look at everything I used to believe it was a piece of cake to let it go and only embrace Torah.

  • To me, I agree you were not called to be Christian. It just reveals itself in your candid explanation. As a late-comer to Jesus, I appreciate the pre-destination thought and believe that the common threads that bind us all to the omnipotent and Sovreign God will not be our demise in the end- yet will show the amazing dimesions and facets unknown to men on earth. For me, Christianity is the only answer to meet that awesome call. but anyhow ~ Peace to you all !

  • great video, i am considering converting for a lot of the same reasons you have said.

  • I did not know that you was a christian :)

  • Yep. I was a Christian for many years.

  • You are very inspiring! I too, am at age 30 and strongly considering Judaism as the religious path that I want to take.

I too, studied Islam and will say that the Quran has some not so nice things to say about Jews. Thus, the reason I never pursued it.

  • Wow! I am glad that I have inspired someone ;)

May you be blessed by HaShem on your journey toward Torah.

  • Interesting testimony.

I have/had thoughts converting to Judaism but I risk a lot of serious consequences of becoming disowned by all my relatives. Any tips?

I'm a Muslim and after researching both Judaism and Christianity, I find Judaism the most consistent and the most sense. It even shares many similarities to Islam.

Christianity is depressing, disturbing experience. I was never Christian and it sucks to see it very flawed in too many ways. It made me upset so much that I cried.

  • A place to begin would be to make contact with a local rabbi (I would recommend starting at Chabad).

If you choose to ultimately convert, you need to tell your family - especially your parents - as soon as possible. Make sure they know that you are not abandoning them and they are still very important in your life.

Also, remember, you can be a Righteous Gentile and follow Torah. Converting to Judaism isn't your only option.

  • are you mad? didn't you ever read quran? or what? Allah yehdik! in your researches haven't you found how these jew have treated their scripture? how the God Become ungry against them? don't you know that Islam is the only religion of all the prophets? and no other religion will be accepted by Allah??!! try to get back to the way of allah instead of thinking to be on of those who earned the unger of Allah, Allah yehdikoum!

  • No, I'm not mad. Did you know Muhammed was Jew?

Look thoroughly at both Judaism and Islam, then let me know your thoughts.

  • I'm amzed that you say you are muslim whereas you made such a lie!!! who said our prophet was jew?? your ignorance may be. Try to read again, read Quran, especially about jew.

  • Actually I did not lie.

The word Jew means anyone who devotes sincere prayer to the creator. I'm right.

Muslim means to submit to the creator.

    /watch?v=h_v1PFKbt-4

You should try reading the Torah.

  • "anyone" where you read that jew means anyone who devotes those prayer? the orignial word where this word come from is "yehudi" and it does not mean anyone at all. To be jew is to follow their religion to adopt their believe and thei way of life, and we are innocent from them, try to read Quran as I said, and stop being influenced by anything you find.

  • I have read the Qur'an and I have studied Islam. I have prayed and I have followed what G-d has said so I chose Judaism.

  • who is this G-d? what have you read and didn't like in Islam, and what pleases you in judaism?

  • There is a lot that I dislike about Islam but I have my own reasons to discard it and choose Judaism. I have found truth in Judaism that I have not found anywhere else.

  • "There is a lot that I dislike about Islam but I have my own reasons to discard it and choose Judaism." really?! so what influenced on you, what you disliked or your reasons?! you are not even clear with yourself!! why you didn't named one of that "lot that you disliked", let discuss the truth of that judaism!

  • you are one of the dumbest muslims on youtube.

For one, islam has many divisions each having different beliefs while contradicting their own (Hadiths and Quran).

If I were to compare the Torah and Quran, the Torah is superior, also it continues to fulfill many prophecies into the future.

    the Quran is a joke.

  • "dumbest muslims"?! is it like that you debate with people? or that is your research and readings that leads you to behave like that?

Islam has not divisions, and don't speak about the inventions of some who just call themselves muslim. and the different believes you deal about are not a caracteristic of Islam. we contradict hadiths and Quran??!!! do you just tell stories or what?

Torah superior?! with what? prophecies fulfilled??!!!let's make a debate, and we'll see.

  • and what Quran said about the torah you ask me to read and what those jews did with it? or you don't read quran???

  • I have read the Qur'an. So what? It did not convince me that it held the truth in and of itself. You can believe what you wish but I reject Islam.

  • the question is not what I or you reject or believe, try to do a debate if you think you are right about what you chose, and after that everybody is free to believe in what he likes or reject what he dislikes.

  • I am not here to debate about my choices. If you want a debate then go somewhere else.

  • but it's you who begun the discussion with me not me who begun it, the true religion is not to choose just like that, blindly, and without reason, by the the way you will not be considered true and sincere jew like native ones, because you should at least have a jew mother, and after all, I have only the intention to tell you to read again the Quran and about Islam, then you are free of your choice, and I will not say more.

  • I did not choose blindly and without reason.

Yes, I am considered a "true Jew" by the Jewish people. This just shows how little you know about Judaism.

I have read the Quran and I will read it again at some point but I have found the truth in Judaism. Judaism means following Torah and G-d's Laws and I will NOT consider any man-made religion.

  • you you consider yourself such wya, but for jews, to be a real jew you must be from jew mother at least, judaism is not a welcoming religion for foreigners.

In judaism , The God had wrestled a human, is't true for such claim???!!!!

The Torah had been revealed in pieces, can you image the amount of text in the pieces is it true that all thoe book of Torah was in those pieces??!!

But I encourage in any case to read Quran and Torah why not, and carefully. Good luck.

  • Judaism is very welcoming of "foreigners". It is a command that is stated multiple times in the Hebrew scriptures.

No, G-d did not wrestle with Jacob. It was an angel sent by G-d (some say the guardian angel of Esau) who wrestled with Jacob.

The Torah was totally revealed to Moses and written down completely by Moses.

I do plan to re-read the Quran at some point. Right now I am re-reading the Hebrew Scriptures.

  • I know I'm replaying to a very old comment.

yet I must say you're wrong.

I'm a jew born to a jew mother, and our friend here which convereted he is a jew now too. when you're converting a new spirit is getting into you, a spirit from Israel sons.

  • no problem if the comment is old.

You say what you feel, but I speak abuot what is adopted by your community, it's known that only jews of either jew parent, or especially from a jew mother who is considered as true and pure one.

For the spirit from Israel sons, we do not believe such things, I ask you if you will,to learn about Islam, and read Quran, and the messages inside of it addressed to you.

  • I'm not saying what I feel I'm saying what I know.

you're right that a jew must have been born to a jewish mother.

yet, a non-jew can be converted by the Torah law and we have a special way to convert such people. then they're like any jew, almost.

about the Quran- I don't think that this is the word of G-d, sorry if it hurts anyhow.

  • I don't deny the conversion of non jews to judaism, but your community does not welcome them, and you did confirm my sayings, so a jew must be born from a jew mother to be jew.

I don't expect you think or even believe Quran is a divine book, I ask you to read and learn about it, because it contains messages addressed to you, so I don't think reading could harm you, right?

can you tell me why you always use the word "G-d"?

  • My community DO welcome them, yet we're very against encoureging people to be jews, not like christians and muslims.

but if someone really wanna be a jew and then being converted then he is very welcome.

I was reading a little bit in the Quran

yet, I can't find that atractive anyhow..

-and I'm using the name G-d cuz if I'll say Elokim you might won't know what I'm talking about..

  • so you're very against encouraging people to be jew,and you welcome the new converters, quite contradictory but anyway it's not to much important for me to go far on it.

you read a little bit,so I call you again to read messages addressed specifically to you,so just read all of them,if you want some help I can help you.

  • it's not contradictory, my friend. we're not a religion that using missionary ways to bring lots of people to believe in it. the number isn't important for us as the quality of the believers. but if a man REALLY do want to be a jew, after he understoood how hard it is and after he have been rejected a few times- then he must be really want that- so he's welcome.

and you're talking about messages but the identity of the messanger is very important so I'll be able to trust those masseges, right?

  • ok as you want, if you insist on it so you welcome them and I don't care about it.

as you said the identity of the messenger is important, and who said just read without knowing who is this messenger, this is why I call you to read about Islam and our prophet and Quran.

  • I think I know enough about Muhammad and his Quran.

yet, if you have something that you wanna qout for me you're welcome..

but I'm think it'll be better to continue this issue in private messages, we're all over the comments here, lol

    Pckills, sorry for that

I won't continue here that issue.

  • I don't think you know enough about our prophet and our Quran, so I call you again to be willing to know more about them, for private messaging about this topic I don't mind though I would prefer it here, well as you like we can continue in private

  • You know what? never mind.

    I'm a jew you're a muslim

I think things about your prophet and Quran that may hurt you

and so it is about you.

    lets stay different. peace.

  • and what are those things you know about our prophet and Quran that may hurt me???!!!!! we can discuss it in private if you wish no problem for me, and by the way I can expose what is really hurting in the story of you own religion.

I had just call you to learn about things, not to to be non different, and after that you're free. You want us to be different, but if you study very well your religion and ours you will see we can be better than that we can be close to each other.

  • why can't you use God clearly?!

do you mean "Elokim"or "Elohim",you don't know I'm arab and muslim,so I'm semetic, hence our language is cousin of the language you use!

  • I'm using the name Elokim with H' only when I'm praying.

    see Exodus 20:6.

we shall not use the full name for nothing

and language isn't matter at all.. it can be spanish or italian, no matter. as much as Elokim known in this name in that langage.

  • I must apologize. I responded to your response thinking that you were commenting to me but it looks like you were commenting to SoloQ.

So, yes I did inadvertently start a discussion with you. I am sorry for the misunderstanding.

  • no problem at all, may be your interpretation of my comments that are the problem but I don't care about them, you at least you responded better than this soloq.

  • well for one..according to quran muhammed ever died and ascended to heaven on his donkey. NO WITNESSES TO THIS EVENT. There were 3 million witnesses at least 600,000, who heard g-ds voice and saw moses receive the torah. AnD muslims claim their book was an "upgrade". So apparently g-d who wrote many times in the torah that it will never be changed, changed his mind and changed it 2 more times? new testament, and quran. and not in front if witnessesm but to 1 person. YEAA believable.

  • @bbb505 well I'm respecting the will of the owner of the video for not doing any debate, but I can't let this nonsense appearing here without a response.you said our prophet "died and ascended on his donkey to heaven", where you brought this from, where in Quran? the witness of what? our prophet never owned a donkey, he owned a female camel, so correct your informations then discuss them

YEAA believable.

  • @bbb505 we muslim believe in Moses in the right way, without the need of any of those millions of witnessers, and in the real tawrat, so do you need those witnessers to believe in God's prophets??!!! where God told you in your torah that this torah will not change?? please tell us!!!

  • where does it say it will not change>? sure ill tell you.Deuteronomy 12:32 -"So be careful to obey all the commands I give you. You must not add anything to them or subtract anything from them."

  • @bbb505 this verse is an order to obey and not to add or to substruct anything, it says not that it won't change, "You must not" so it's an order.

  • Deuteronomy 31:25-29 : "`How can you say, "We [the Jews] are wise, for we have the law of the LORD," when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?'. Have you ever read that or never. I think never.

  • as for the christian religion there are over 250,000!!! variations and the religion is 1,500 years younger. which do you think should have more differences? whatever you can write whatever you want i have no interest in debating with you, it will not make any difference. gl in all your ways.

  • @bbb505 I know that christian scriptures too have known alterations just like yours, the problem is the same, the number of years is not an argument, the truthfulness is, I respect your desire of not to debate, I just wanted to show you what you are wrong about, we will all be to God, and we all face the truth, good luck to you too.

YEAA believable.

  • @bbb505 According to your historian, after the destruction of what you believe as the second temple, the torah burnt and got lost, so jews after that tried to recompose it according to what they memorised, the result wouldn't of course be the real torah, do you know this too? I don't think so!

  • i have no desire to argue with you. but the earliest text found of the jewish bible is 2,500 years old.. and there have been exactly 9 variations from the text we have today and these are variations of spelling,, not about the meaning of the words or sentences. Just think logically, g-d appeared to an entire nation, told them this is what you will do forever and always, then appears to one person and says, oh my bad that book sucked, this is better. That does not sound g-dly to me. And i add a

  • @bbb505 but you are arguing as I see, 2500 years mean nothing, the scriptures of jews are many along the history, check again the history of your scriptures and see how many times they have been altered.

  • dash to g-d. because i respect the name of my lord, others can do as they want no one forces me to do anything.

  • @bbb505 respecting someone is another reason to pronounce his name correctly and entirely, you wouldn't accept to make dashes inside of your name, so how would it be about our Almighty God, you see you have no motive no reason, God didn't tell you to make a dash in his name did he?

  • @bbb505 Deuteronomy 31:25-29 :he gave this command to the Levites who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD : 26 "Take this Book of the Law and place it beside the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God. There it will remain as a witness against you. 27

  • @bbb505 "For I know how rebellious and stiff-necked you are. If you have been rebellious against the LORD while I am still alive and with you, how much more will you rebel after I die! 28"

  • @bbb505 "Assemble before me all the elders of your tribes and all your officials, so that I can speak these words in their hearing and call heaven and earth to testify against them. 29 "

  • @bbb505 "For I know that after my death you are sure to become utterly corrupt and to turn from the way I have commanded you. In days to come, disaster will fall upon you because you will do evil in the sight of the LORD and provoke him to anger by what your hands have made."

  • @bbb505 so apparently your own torah does not help you, so is it still believable?!!! say the name of your God without any problem as you call Him Elohim, Eloah , or even God, does your torah tell you to put a "-" instead of "o" ? I don't think so

  • Yeah, me too i dont believe in hell. I think hell is from pegan. and Islam claerly teach something pegan.

But Like you said I like to worship only one God alone.

and since I cant be a Jew. so islam is only realigion for me.

  • You don't have to convert to Judaism to follow G-d. A Noachide is someone to be praised and a Noachide can worship G-d in a very similar fashion as a Jew and can do almost every single mitzvot (commandments) that a Jew can do. If you want to discuss this privately, e-mail me through this account.

  • I fear and love only G-d.

  • Yeah, I want to know how you convert.

    Good video

    Kite207

  • Hey Kite! I wondered where you went to....

Hopefully I will get a quick video up in the next few days explaining how conversion works.
