Last week I went for job interview and the manager told me what they produce and then asked me do you have any question? weird! I said no, and again he said you don't have any question? I said no, every thing is clear. cos I don't know what to ask him and they told me that they'll call me back but they never did. I think he gave me a red flag. damn I realy need a job!! I am passing through hard time!
If anyone can answer before 11 AM tomorrow, i have an interview and i want to know if i should bring up the fact that I'm going to be joining the marines when I'm 18.
@xxxCRAZYLOVExxx yes! My boss spent an hour pacing the floor, rubbing his big stupid head while maintenance replaced the lock on the door. Then he made a speech of how he will get to the bottom of this! Think I will loosen the screws on his high back leather chair next to watch humpty dumpty have a great fall!
its important to be fucking fake robot so take your valium and smile for those fucking retards get off your high fucking horses you fucking pathetic fake retards
True, career fairs are a waste of time. More like a real fair, but worse, with stress and pressure involved in a Maslow-incentive cycle where there's not "treat" or actual job to have. Try freelance blogging online! it works!
This person really just talks about common sense.
For those struggling to actually trying to get an interview, it is actually easy. All you must do is try and seperate yourself from the field. This can be done through networking or utilising many sources on the internet. Just as a starting point anyway.
Apparently over 60% of jobs/employees are found through sites like LinkedIn
Cool video and helpful, also search and visit this youtube channel ukinterview to view a very helpful job interview guide based on u.s. and u.k. This will get you a job.
Most of the stuff you are telling people to ask is usually on the company's website. You ask too many questions and they wont hire you. You want to be interested but not so much where it would be a turn off.
Thank you so much, this is absolutely excellent and is a definite must see for grads. I hear your video and I feel so much more confident now and I was compelled to express my thanks.
BANK OF AMERICA IS THE MOST CORRUPT BANK IN THE COUNTRY!. Bank of America harassed me, ruined my credit, charged me over $800 in fees over a 10 day period, tried to humiliate me, and never stopped calling my house- all because of $50 overdraft!!
In one day I was charged over $250 in overdraft fees because of a company that took advantage of my bank account- BofA charges more fees than any bank in the World!
Career fairs..lol Most of the companies that show up to these career fairs aren't even hiring. Las Vegas is notorious for having career fairs and the news did an investigative report and it turned out that only 1 of the companies there was hiring and that was the U.S. Navy. Don't even waste your time going to these things.
Anyone in the United States who puts their career aspirations, hopes and dreams on working for Corporate America is nothing more than an idiot.
The best thing that ever happened to me was being forced out of a company that collapsed because of mismanagement & stupidity.
That was over 12 years ago. It was the best thing that ever happened. For those of you losing your jobs don't pity yourself. Get pissed and start your own small business.
@BoomerNavy70 A lot of people don't have the confidence that you do. For some people, the big corporates can help them. If you want to go to India or China, it would help to be Indian or Chinese in background, would it not?
I agree with you 100%. I live in Las Vegas NV where the unemployment rate is over 14.5%. Educated people who are way over qualified for jobs are having to work for 50% less than what they are used to making. Some are even forced to take minimum wage type jobs. I would like to know where is all this change Obama was talking about when he was running for office. You have to go into an interview with confidence and be neat and clean. All the rest is bullshit.
Hi, how are you! i have read your coment on youtube for job point of view. i have done bechelor in commerce. now i dont want to do MBA. I want to do something in which i am interested.plz guide me what shud i do next? please help me.
@akash1229 when you are are applying for a entry level job means you don't need a smartphone. In india depending on the job salary varies. you can get up to $600 and even $ 800 if you are really talented. If you are an entry level accountant you may get $ 300 but if you are a talented software engineer you can get $ 800 and cost of living for an individual is around $300 for a modest living. Depends on how you live. Smart phone is a luxury not a need or want.
@intelvamsi a smartphone is a luxury? really? then tell my 30% indians hve smartphones when 45% are below poverty line. Why india is the one of the fastest countries in smartphone penetration? Indians love to show off. They buy smartphones when they are in the corporate structure to avoid being left behind their colleagues. 300 dollars for a modest living? are you fcking kidding me. who pays rent? do you know the real estate prices in india? eating out in mumbai is the same as eatn out in nyc
Respond to this video... lets start with you. ur an indian in the usa. y dont u move back and lets see ur standard of living back home. I will sum it up for you.
A guy from delhi comes to mumbai after spending $30,000 on his MBA from India and gets a job paying him say $1000 per month.
1. $300 - $500 rent pm in mumbai suburbs
2. $100- $200 pm eating out ( yes u will eat out)
3. $100 eating home and other necessaties
4. $50 - $100 transporation depending where u live from your work

@BoomerNavy70 Yes get a job in India and China where an entry level job is $300 per month, exactly the cost of a cheap smartphone.
and who will pay for rent, utilities and food?

@intelvamsi so u spent $550 on basic needs. but u know thats not true as u will spend more on movies, hanging out and partying on weekends.
now taxes. Taxes are about 20-30% on income above 4.5 lakhs. with $1000pm u earn approx 6lakhs.
that is approx 1.2 lakhs or $200 pm in taxes. your savings =1000-550+200=$250 if you live a shitty life.
try paying ur mba loans off or having fun in ur life with that shit. Congrats on that life!
