Cop killers. Not worth trusting a Native. Take advantage of you and expect everything for free. Bunch a posers, wannabe thugs. Assume all are or have been criminals.
I wanna say something ( never mined my account name my bro made my account n thought that it was funny not me anywas) Im EARTH MAN of the PLAINS CREE NATION were just north of you guys in canada we have the same problem gangs guns drugs booze poverty. But people our starting to go back to our roots we sundance sweat we have horse dance and of course pow wows but this isnt in alberta this is in toronto canada its the 4th largest city in north america its gang populated but is more then that and
why the hell do native Americans join gangs when they have a fucking tribe come on now life is all about authenticity aint nathan authentic about a nDn acting black
What difference does it make wheither it's Native backgrouond music or balck american background music. The most important thing is it's a SUICIDE PREVENTION SONG for our Youth. DOnt make one little bit of difference what backgrouind style is being used. What..........did you want us to use pow-wow music? DOnt be so DAMM dumb.
@a90351cleveland How can u blame your brother for being like them? Do you speak your language, do you give respect to your elders, do u attend sweats, do you pray to Tunkasila everyday?? Teens and children follow what they see. If they see you behaving like every other modern American of course they will too.. It's sad but it's a true fact. Why can't they listen to rap if people in their family are listening to rock, country, christian music and other stuff that is NOT n-a-t-i-v-e??
Excellent comment..................finally someone who's thinking reality. Nobody told you what music to like when you were little. Teens follow what they see. 51 Clev knows what he's talking about.
This says it's about suicide prevention. And, yet, after about 5 seconds of this mess, all I could think about was killing myself as quickly as possible.
@bladder1010 I like this comment, very funny.............But yes...I respect your opinion! And I got a nice laugh out of it too. Thanks for being honest.
@paulsviplist Them are "real native americans"!! Their Lakota's!!! Ashamed to see how we live? This is for real!! This is the way alot of us live. We are poor yes, we have problems just like every other persion in America, their just more amplified because we are isolated...and we don't have programs available to put the alcoholic or the drug addict in treatment!!! But no matter what we still have our Lakota Pride!! Don't talk crap just cuz u ain't aware!!
@draghynmystress I am Native American. I just made the comment like that so I could be shore that I was talking to a real native brother. So do not be mad. I am here to help. Add me as a friend and I will start to give you the info to train our people to make money now and to stop drinking. I am from The Black Foot tribe.
@draghynmystress Nice comment.....................for once someone is thinking positive and is offering a correct statement. There is no treatment centers, detox facilties or modern manners to get quality addiction treatment . And no matter how bad things may appear, we always find a way to happiness and thankfullness.
@FoxbellyII So true! Alot of people don't even realize that we struggle for basic everyday needs..a home, food & clothes. It's always a never ending cycle of needs that don't get fulfilled. Housing is lacking cuz alot of rez's only get funding to build so many houses each year. And its not enuf to get every homeless person in a house. U need a car to get to work, go get groceries and clothes...but there's nowhere to work. Endless reasons to be depressed and find a reason to drink & use drugs...
About the video...it does need some work but it gets the message across. I honestly feel for these Native kids who feel like they have no way out other than committing suicide. I wanted to kill myself back in '93, so I kinda know what they are feeling. And chulah, let me say that even though I'll never know your struggle and I'll never know how hard it is for your people to survive, I respect your culture, traditions...the whole bit. And if there was a way for this white kid to help, I'd do it.
lol this is funny i mean sad that they think they can rap but funny that they even try man get a fawking drum group together and sing they way u where supposed to fawking wanna bz be proud of ur heritage and bring it back dont fell sorry for ur selfz... get a job leave the rez get out of ur parents and grand parents housez what u guys gunna do when there gone....... THINK ABOUT IT............
Ya..................Thats true, but it's still fun using black rap beats to create remixes. Pow-wow or Native beats & music just wont get the views we're looking for. It's the Youth we are trying to reach, and they are only interested in these kinds of beats. I dont care for rap music myself, but the viewers decide what music is popular.
Why do you want to imitate a culture that wasn't yours in first place. Your native!! Be proud...don't be a nigger or talk like a nigger!!! If you say your proud to have native blood!!! How would your ancestors look at you? Baggy pant, side ways hats, a talk or slang, they wouldnt understand, they would laugh and cast you out.
im proud to be lakotah ill never have wigger in my blood .useing gangs as a cop out .if you want to do something with ur life you can do it no one can stop us .were the fighting sioux not wiggers .be proud of who you are .dont be a wanabee gangster shit were natives may tunkashila bless yall go to the inipi be a indian not a wanabee wigger ok .all my relation
This is great. It shows the reality of the rez, the straight up everyday emotion that you see and feel on Pine Ridge. I love the raw style production. Keep up the work, show us some more.
Awsome................................totally awsome song and video.
Thank you for this submission Alf.
At 0:43 in the video you see a car along the side of the road 3 miles east of Pine Ridge that crashed and burned all the way down to the frame and rims.
At 1:23 you see a green & silver pickup that crashed and rolled 12 times across from Loneman School near Oglala South Dakota.
These types of alcohol related accidents have become a weekly occurrence. Only on the Rez!
