Scar L with silencer, extended mag, scavenger, hardline or QuickDraw, and stalker is probably one of the most versatile guns in the game. I have a few moabs with this set up and it never disappoints, in fact it is my go-to-gun in sticky situations.

People keep saying the SCAR is a really good weapon because of good damage and decent fire rate.

I'm online and I'm checking the gun stats on CoD Wiki, and the Scar has a 35 damage with 750 rof. The M4A1 has a 45 damage with 780 rof. Why is the Scar better than the M4A1?

I use my SCAR L with a heartbeat sensor w/reddot sight with the default reticule. A smaw. Blind eye, hardline,marksman.assault:care package, helicopter,agm. And dead mans hand. Please try this load out it kicks ass:D

Has any one else notice they forgott to put the bolt piece whitch ejects the shells on the right side of the gun. See in video above there are two slots, but in game (theatre mode) theres just the long top one, so where does the shells eject from ;)

@AL3XOWNZ In Mw2 it was the Scar-H(Heavy, meaning it fired more powerful bullets). In Mw3 it's the Scar-L(Light, Meaning it fires smaller/weaker bullets but with larger clip size)

I never understood why anyone would use a sight attachment for this gun. The iron sights are just perfect. I like the silencer a lot, but the big problem with it is the fact that SCAR-L has "medium" range already, so the bullets will lose damage pretty soon with it.

the SCAR-L is actually different from the SCAR-H because the L shoots the 5.56x45 cartridge and the H shoots the 7.62x51 cartridge. I'm sure the L has a slightly lighter barrel, but that's the real difference

There are various versions of SCAR heavy and light.

There are close quarter SCAR-H variants and long barrelled SCAR-L variants too.

@MNHunter37 you are right indeed, L stands for Light and H stands for Heavy, and it refers to the barrel. Its the only difference, even the mags are the same, thats why scar-h had 20 bullets in mw2 (because they were bigger) and now it has 30 (because they are the littler) sorry 4 bad english :)

I used to love SCAR... but this game lowered it's damage maybe too much and didn't even increase the rate of fire. And they botched the AK-47 too. But M4 in this game is pretty godlike. It has no recoil and shoots really fast.

Just a note to add to your silencer technique: when you pop on silencers, the recoil patterns of weapons may take a slight change, you might be able to put another bullet into a burst (or be forced to have one less, depends on the weapon) at the longer ranges.

The scar is undoubtedly a good gun though, no matter what you put on it. I'm going for the shotgun+ACOG, just to make long ranges a little nicer.

@ Arppis, its nerfed from mw2, it was like that at the launch, the old acr was overpowered so they evened it out more. the scar l is the same gun except the scar kills slighlty faster and it has a slight bit more accuracy, and its unlocked at level 5.

The "Light" and "Heavy" designations don't directly refer to the barrel weights, but the calibre of each weapon, the Light being the newer 5.56mm NATO standard, while the Heavy being the older 7.62mm round.

@TekkenMasterable Couple of reasons I decided against recommending perks this time. First you can't go wrong with SOH, QuickDraw, Steady Aim so I'd be repeating myself a lot. And second I'm doing my class setup videos at the same time as weapon guides this time, so I'll be talking more about perks for a specific role in those :-)

H and L in the weapon name have nothing to do with the weapons weight, the SCAR-H fire the 7.62 mm NATO cartridge and the SCAR-L fire the 5.56 mm NATo cartridge ;)

can you please do a video were you break down on wich gamemode you get the most points? reason being on the search scoreboard always is somithing written about 250 depending on your kills but you get about 4000 xp all the time. its really confusing and i think you could make a video about it and maybe get some new subs who had the same problem :) keep it up

@imopsvideo Remember points are achieved in game for objectives as well as kills, and the on-screen points usually include completed challenges etc. My next Class Setup video will be about ranking up so hopefully I'll be able to share some tips in that
