@sunshallsee It's how I got to know him as well. He supported Wild Beasts last year and played every song solo. You could hear a pin drop in the venue between the notes and everyone was absolutely flabbergasted.

@TVRawwr It's mainly because Villagers and Co are signed to independant labels like Domino so they haven't got the cash to get the music advertised everywhere. While Bieber and that are signed to major labels like Sony and others who have the cash to advertise everywhere and have the links to get the musicians on TV as much as possible. If major labels started to sign these guys and let them do what they want they'd be come big in countries that prefet music and not computerized auto tuned shite

Was watching this on television and it struck me that this song is about cults. The video is full of earnest looking beautiful people looking off into an imaginary beyond, the lyrics are suggestive of brainwashing, and heck, it's called "Ship of Promises", which from my experience is pretty much what cults are.
