The CBI has $ 44 billion supporting it's current exchange rate @ 1170, that's why they are going to change it large denoms for small denoms. Just imagen a Central Bank giving you $ 25,000 usd for a 25000 iqd banknote that probably cost you $ 30 bucks ? It will never happen my friend. Not now and not never. Good Luck !

The revalue will happen. Right now the current iraqi dinar is 1168 per 1 dollar. When the revalue the currency they will change the ISO. This is the important part. The ISO means a new different type of iraqi dinar. This is going to be the revalue
1 US dollar= 1 new 2010 revalue iraqi dinar= 1 current iraqi dinar.
You will get back what you paid for. That is a big if. If Iraq determines that the only place where you can exchange the currency is in Iraq. Guess what? You will have to go to iraq

I guess the Dinar value went up a tiny bit because when i go to the website, it says 1.000 USD = 1,153.50 IQD
