Thanks for that - but you're wrong. My piano is not bad, it is the recording that is bad! I do in fact have the best, most expensive and latest Electric Piano that is available. GEM is the brand - it's the newest, latest and been rated as the best brand - beating yamaha and roland etc. So it is the quality of the camera that has not absorbed the good quality sound that is heard from the piano and the room i was in. Thank you

totally know what you mean and i agree with you! as you can see i played this a year ago so have greatly improved and am much more aware now of basic things like dynamics etc. what do you mean by a video tutorial?

I like your arrangement, but I think it woudl sound better if you played it more softly. Or is this a clipping issue with the recording? In any event, I'd advise you to directly record the line out of your digital piano to your computer.

Thank you v much - yes; the recording took the notes very harshly, but i also think i should've played it more softly. I have tried many times to put it to the computer, but we have a foreign computer (foreign parents) so the setup is very different - very frustrating!!

Hi samts65 thanks for taking my comment so well. Good luck developing Your Song your way. I am more a singer than a player and I would want a kind of hesitation in the notes to fit the mood of "I hope you don't mind"...then end with a gentle kiss rather than a mach flourish. It's a lovely song we all agree.

Ahh from looking it in your light as a singer, yes I do see what you mean - I do agree. But it can be seen differently from a playing point of view.

It's a smashing song, yes - right now I've been working on 'The Way It Is' by Bruce Hornsby - have a look at that - it's fantastic! Good luck with your singing :)

Hi samts65, I came back for another listen. Now I say yours is the most energetic playing of this music that I have heard on youtube - the first 80% swept me away. Some awkwardness with the phrasing at the end... Sorry that I keep harping on that!

That was not sensitive, was more of a grind than an interpretive love song. Wasn't there a bad note at 2:40, and please don't flourish the closing chord!

I agree with you - It was not played with any feeling - i made this video 9 months ago - so remember, i have gotten MUCH better!

I disagree with you however on the closing chord - it can be flourished - it creates more of a closing and "dimming" effect to the tune. A straight cut chord, i think, is much more boring and like an ending "thud". Thanks for the 'constructive' critisism though!

Hi and thanks for your wicked comment! This is my 5th yr of playing the piano. I started with lessons, and then quit after about a year or two and have just gone back to lessons a few weeks ago - So I have mostly taught myself. I am nearly grade 6. I think the key to piano playing is practise. I would practise for hrs on end just to get a piece perfect. :)
